ALL GUESTS REQUIRED TO SIGN EQUESTRIAN AND POOL RELEASE FORM

Emerald Farms is a massive 8,000 sqft, gated equestrian estate situated in the middle of a 100-acre operating horse farm and thoroughbred training facility. Enjoy the stunning views of the horses, deer, geese, herons, and other wildlife while soaking in the enormous infinity pool, relaxing by the stacked stone fire pit, or sipping your coffee on the 2,000 square foot porch.

This fully remodeled 5-bedroom farmhouse includes:

- Three master suites (king bed and ensuite bath)
- Custom bunk room with six built-in bunks
- Chef’s kitchen
- Home theater with stadium seating
- Magnificent custom bar and game room
- 40'x20' unheated infinity pool with 12’ hot tub
- Stacked stone fire pit with seating
- 8 smart TVs to stream all your own subscriptions (complimentary Netflix subscription provided)

Guests will have private access to over 20 acres of a secluded nature preserve surrounding a large creek with white-water rapids and the remnants of a historic mill. As a professional thoroughbred training facility, horseback riding is not currently available.

The house is located in McDonough, Georgia, just 45 minutes from Downtown Atlanta, 15 minutes from the shops and restaurants of historic downtown McDonough Square, and 10 minutes from a spectacular public golf course and state park.

The house and farm provide a perfect break from the city and a chance to unwind in nature. We strive to maintain the natural serenity and to foster the relationship with the farm employees, their magnificent horses, and all the other wildlife that thrives on the farm. For those reasons, we do not permit parties, fireworks, firearms, smoking, pr excessively loud music. Similarly, only registered guests are permitted on the property without the host's prior written consent.

A full residence guide is available for download upon booking confirmation.

Serene

Everything about this house speaks serene. We enjoyed as many of the amenities as we could, the pool, hot tub, movie theater & the game room. In addition to awakening to deers outside of our windows, daily we were in view of the horses grazing the grass and galloping on the massive land near us. The pictures do not compare to the a actual beauty of this location. The host is excellent, responds in a timely fashion, and added pleasantly to the overall experience.

A PERFECT family get-away!

My family of 6 (4 children between 5 and 11) needed to come to Georgia and I looked at every home in the vicinity and we decided to splurge and stay here. We are SO glad we did! This newly renovated home is totally secluded (other than near by horses), spacious, spartan and immaculate. So relaxing! The master bath is incredible- but this, and most rooms on the ground floor, are without window coverings so might be hard for the demure or light sleepers. The master bed is on the main floor with the remainder of the rooms upstairs with two sturdy picturesque staircases. The view from every room is breathtaking. The kids loved the pool and hot tub (hot tub only heated on cloudy days on request or after sundown). The property manager was a complete pro and responded within seconds to minutes with any question and even left us a welcome treat! The beds were comfortable. I loved the eating with my family at the huge dining room table, as well as the kitchen and outdoor tables too. The movie theater was a cool perk and each night we played poker before bed. We have stayed at a fair share of vacation homes and I loved that this home had excellent lighting at night for every room, labeled the light switches clearly & offered little bits of everything to start you off in case you need them (coffee, bath products, soap, detergent, paper products, etc). The gas fireplaces did not seem to want to cooperate with. The nearby stream was so fun to explore. Overall amazing experience!
