About this property
History, Oenology and Gastronomy in Alentejo
Typical Alentejo house decorated in a way that respects the traditions of the region and the countryside.
The accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen allowing the preparation of meals. It has two bedrooms with a double bed and one bedroom with a single bed, ideal for families with children. There is a backyard and a terrace. It is located in the historic part of the village.
In the restoration, we opted for a decoration that combines local elements and the comfort of modern times, resulting in a harmonious effect between a rustic and contemporary style that make it a space of tranquility and charm in a relaxed atmosphere.
Vila Viçosa is known as the “Princess of Alentejo”. Although small, it is one of the most precious and enchanting jewels in Alentejo, a “museum village”.
The Ducal Palace of Vila Viçosa… a splendid royal palace, a unique example of our architecture and therefore a must-visit.
After the Ducal Palace, the Vila Viçosa Castle. Inside its walls, in the old Gothic chapel of Nossa Senhora do Castelo, you can find the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Vila Viçosa, patron saint of Portugal, with its original image.
There are several cities and towns around with historical and cultural interest, such as Évora, Vila Viçosa, Borba, Évora - Monte or Monsaraz.
And also enjoy the Alentejo Wine Route.
