Beautifully constructed log cabin with open great room/kitchen/dining room centered on a grand wood-burning fireplace. We enjoyed a belated Christmas celebration with our family here.
Just wrapped up our stay. It was fantastic! It is an amazing property and we are grateful for the chance to stay in such a unique place. While not everything was ideal (e.g., not easy to cook there, critters living under the bathroom floor), it is just such a cool place. Only one suggestion. This place obviously has some serious history. Celebrate that! Add some info about the history of this place, who built it, who lived there over the years, how the area has changed over the years, etc... I think that adding that narrative for guests will really strengthen the impact of a stay. Otherwise, many thanks for maintaining this place and make it accessible for folks to stay at!
It was a beautiful cabin in a lovely location- very private but close to everything. The owner was very responsive. The only thing that would make it better could be more information at the house about how to work the shower, local places to get wood and supplies. It was a great place overall and we really enjoyed our stay there.
Our stay was very interesting. Locating the property was hard (our fault for not reading the direction). After that, everything went smoothly. We spent 5 days (4 nights).
It was close to everything.
We enjoyed our stay in the log cabin in the woods. I especially enjoyed the front porch where you could have coffee in the morning and listen to the geese fly overhead. We were able to cook in the kitchen and have guests, and our grandbaby was able to play outside. It was rustic, but that is what we were looking for, there were a couple of issues, but the property manager was very responsive to our queries. Thanks.

Nice Property Needs Improvements
Overall, our stay was just adequate. A very nice house, a bit outdated, with plenty of room for our large group. It could definitely have been cleaner. The stairs leading to downstairs were very dirty, there was trash under one of the beds, dust on the ceiling fans, stains on the very cheap sheets, dirty shower curtain and leftover food from previous guests. No outdoor trash can but we were asked to take it to an outdoor shed in the back yard and throw it in with a mountain of bags already there. Stinky and critter infested. It looked like they would burn eventually it as there was an incinerator next to it. On the plus side, a great porch to watch the wild bunnies and fireflies. TV streaming in the great room had great choices. Good communication with the owner resolved some issues. I would not stay here again unless improvements were made.

Cabin in Woods
Fun for 4 guys on a golf trip. More useable kitchen and grill would’ve been nice. Early check in was appreciated.
We very much enjoyed our stay. Some things are very dated (microwave, the home intercom system). The basement seemed like hadn't really been cleaned (water bottles left from prior group, dusty) but otherwise things were well done. The main room is huge and just fun to be in. The "driveway" makes you feel like you're in a very rural location--it was fun and nice. We loved the property.
There were some minor basic things missing/broken, but communication with the owner was easy and fast. We'd be happy to stay there again.
Enjoyed our oasis! Everything we needed was there (except a full size mirror) haha.
We all loved the stay and enjoyed our porch mornings and bonfire nights. Enjoyed your upscale furniture and designer worthy decorating of life house. Beds ultimate comfy! Away from it all yet close to everything!
We loved our getaway and the property was perfect for our adult children and ourselves. The only disappointment was the fire pit was unable to be used because the grass was very high in the back. Otherwise it was very comfortable and homey for our stay. We loved it!
This is a beautiful huge cabin in the woods. I would have given 5 stars, but we found few scattered tiny black dirt in the kitchen drawers. They need to be wiped and cleaned. We ended up not using any of the utensils, glasses and plates. It's good we brought our own paper plates and plastic utensils. Aside from that, we had a comfy, quiet and relaxing stay.
This property is a great get a way. There is lots of room, lots to do and absolutely beautiful. Definitely can't wait to book again. The hosts answered any questions very quickly. The cabin was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. The whole place is great.
