homey for homeys

Overall, worked well for a bachelors party [the Very mild kind]. Close to whitetop to start the creeper trail. Gas station and cafe very close for food and snacks. Tons of kitchen space and utensils. Good open space for Frisbee or soccer (mind the pond). If your doing a more active/athletic based event with a bunch of dudes, this is a pretty good spot to do it. Only downside is no cell service. So, if you get lost on your way here. The Railroad cafe is your sign that you are very close! And if you need to make calls, use facebook messenger or something close to that and you can get through.

Excellent stay

The location is great, the cabin and surrounding property is amazing. Close enough to the trail for an easy drop in but secluded enough to feel private. Excellent communication!

Beautiful

The cabin is beautiful, secluded. The space was large enough for our 5 adult and 4 children family. There were plenty of towels, and supplies to stay. It isn’t very close to large stores but there was a small cafe and station just up the road that had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Secluded Getaway with the Fam’

This homey cabin was all we could ask for and more for our.hiking and creeper trail getaway. Comfortable beds, all the amenities, fabulous deck and screened porch and lots of land for the dog to play ball! We even had surprise visitors in and around the pond - river otters that we enjoyed watching frolic each morning! Our host, Mackenzie was so fabulous to work with. Definitely will plan to come back again!!

Great stay and beautiful home

This house was amazing! Our group loved everything about this place. Can’t say nothing but wonderful things about our host Mackenzie. We had an issue with the fridge the first night and the next day we had a brand new refrigerator! The whole process was flawless from beginning to and. Hopefully we will be back!

Bike ride

Very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked but wished there was salt and a little oil-the basics which I always forgret. Beds/bath comfortable and family enjoyed the hot tub. Down the road from the bike rental place and cute cafe! Grill unfortunately did not get over 150* despite full propane tank and we couldn't turn on the gas fireplace.

Wonderful Place

We had an amazing time! The property is secluded, lots to explore, fantastic hot tub and comfy beds. Lots of games and movies to enjoy. Great open living space for families. The only two drawbacks for us were that there weren’t any extra trash bags and that the hot water ran out very quickly. I would recommend bringing the usual things like soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels and such as extra is not provided and groceries stores are far off. I would so definitely recommend this place and will be back again!
