About this property

New for 2023, new central AC unit and wall to wall carpeting throughout the house. Clean, fresh and up to date. Includes wifi and central AC, some places do not...Newly painted [2021]the entire inside. New appliances, new furniture, new bedding. The golf cart has a new motor, batteries and tires. The place is ready for visitors. ALWAYS INCLUDES GOLF CART. We purchased this property in 2002 as a place to take the kids each summer. My husband and I enjoy the local restaurants and shopping. The kids love the beach, pool and campground recreational activities. The campground has activities for all ages and it is great family fun. We continue to enjoy our home away from home and now share it with many repeat renters. We include the golf cart with the house, because everyone knows you gotta have one when you're at Ocean Lakes!
2021 update: We've removed a double bed from the master bedroom and replaced it with a desk/vanity. The master suite is much more spacious as a result. We've also added a new sofa and recliner, not yet pictured.
We recommend our place for 2 or 3 adults plus children. We don't recommend 4 adults plus children.

Great for a family getaway

This was a very cute and clean little place. Ocean lakes was so fun, lots to do for families and little ones. The house has everything you’ll need to hang on the beach all day, it even had chairs, and sand toys too. We all had a blast

Great Family Vacation Spot!

We had a great stay at Ocean Lakes Campground. The little cottage was as described, tidy and comfortable, perfect for our family of 4. I had open communication with the owners from the time I booked the reservation. They were extremely kind and helpful and responded promptly anytime I had a question. They were especially helpful when we had questions after our arrival concerning the golf cart. Including the golf cart in the rental is A MUST!! It was a wonderful convenience and is absolutely necessary at Ocean Lakes. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

Fun in the sun rental

If cleanliness is important to you as it is to me, this house is for you. Comfy, very clean and was a quiet area. Ed was a great host and got right back to us to answer any question we had. Would definitely stay again.

Family Vacay

We really enjoyed our stay here with our kids. It’s not located in the middle of everything which is good because it’s quieter and not so busy. Having the golf cart was really nice and we enjoyed drinking coffee every morning on the porch.

Enjoyable time spent

We had a fantastic time driving around Ocean Lakes in the golf cart! Location is towards the entrance, so you definitely use it. Place was clean and has heavier blankets in the closet so you really only need sheets. Loved having access to the vacuum. Water pressure was amazing. They had scissors!! I know you all feel me on that. The quarter step from living room to kitchen is a real toe stubber, but you'll figure it out. Might have left our sand toys so, enjoy!

Comfortable and convenient

This is a small, older unit which fit our needs perfectly for the month we stayed. Having the golf cart was so convenient as that is the preferred mode of transportation at Ocean Lakes. Ed was so prompt to respond to our questions: one day we couldn't get the golf cart to run and after giving him a call he had someone over to fix it the same day! The beach is beautiful and so accessible from the Ocean Lakes property. We really enjoyed the church services at the rec hall also. I think the description says new appliances, but the old kitchen stove leaves much be desired. Be aware there is a parking fee.

Weekend Getaway

The house was perfect for my wife and I to getaway for a long weekend. It was very clean and comfortable and in a nice quiet location. The owners were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had and provided great directions for checking in and out. We would definitely stay again.
