This luxurious true ski-in/ski-out slope side residence is centrally located in the heart of Purgatory Resort. The location is ideal for the year-round enjoyment of what Durango, Purgatory Resort, and the Four Corners region have to offer. In addition, Purgatory Lodge 205 is THE ONLY ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) unit in the building thus allowing easier access for your loved ones who may need more room to get around. (Please note : NO Wheelchair Accessible Shower.)
Heated, Indoor and assigned parking is available on the ground level of this building for 1 vehicle. (50% More space for Wheelchair access)
Being a true ski-in/ski-out location, just walk out the door of this building to the ski lifts and the village.
The condo is two flight up from the check-in office and easily accessible via stairs or elevator. Just steps away are the Purgatory shops with ski/snowboard rentals, mountain bike rentals, lessons, restaurants, souvenir/apparel shops, an activity center for planning winter and summer excursions, and much more.
Guests staying at Purgatory Lodge 205 have full access to the DMC (Durango Mountain Club). Which offers a heated pool with slide (Private access to the Bear Bar), hot tub, gym, private lounge with game room and the Club restaurant/ Bar with magnificent views of the Needles Mountain one side and the slopes on the other! Also, Purgy's Pub and Restaurant is located in this building.

This south facing unit provides natural light all day and a private deck with great views of the slopes and main lift.
The deck has patio table with 4 chairs.
The fully stocked kitchen is open to the living room.
This condo offers 2 bedrooms each with a king bed, 2 full baths, and living room pull out sofa-bed can accommodate 6. Also, this unit has an in suite full size private washer/dryer and a private ski locker located right outside of the building by the pool.

Consistent with most Colorado mountain resorts; this building does NOT offer air-conditioning.

Great slopeside condo!

Get ready in the condo and walk to the lifts! Comfortable beds and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautiful solid dining room table made for fun dinners and card games with the family. Mimi reached out right after booking and was a pleasure to work with. Access to the "Club" was a plus - as was soaking in the hot-tub under the stars after a great day of skiing.

We love this place!

This is our second year to stay at this location. It has plenty of space to accommodate my husband and I, our kids (2 young, active boys), and my parents. We even had some friends (2 adults, 2 kids) over for dinner that were also staying in the lodge and we had plenty of space. The location and ease of getting out to the slopes can’t be beat! Great heated parking garage with easy access for loading/unloading. The Durango Mountain Club amenities (pool, games, dining) is all wonderful! We plan to make this our yearly location when we visit!

Great Ski In/Out Stay

This was a great place to stay, located right at the base of the mountain, with plenty of space in the lodge. We appreciated the cleanliness, good furnishings, good communication with the owner, and enjoyed ending the day with the outdoor (heated) pool and hot tub. Hope to return some day!

Super Comfortable & Quiet!

Nice views from balcony. The place is so much bigger then it looks online. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and it’s very quiet. Our condo was in Pergatory Resort Bldg., (#205) which was convenient. Owner is responsive & so nice. Close to hiking & some small lake campgrounds. We loved it! Didn’t want to depart!

Location is perfect for mountain

Best part is the location of course being right on the mountain. Garage access is great. There was an issue with dishwasher. Maintenance staff responded quickly but had to wait on part. Not a big deal for us as only there a few days and should be fixed soon I expect. Note for summer time stays that AC units for lodge are outside windows so noisy with windows open. Luckily my kids like it noisy for sleeping but others may not.

Great for ski on/out

Very spacious property for two bedrooms and very convenient to the slopes. The on property parking was very helpful but note that the unit offers a single spot in the garage. Additional outside parking is close by. Only complaint about the accommodations is that it was pretty dark (darker than in the pictures) even with all the lights on. I would stay here again.

Great location

Truly ski in ski out. We loved staying in the purgatory Lodge where we could walk steps to the main lift. We enjoyed the ease of the ski locker. The condo had everything you would need, including a washing machine and dryer (bring detergent!). The one negative was the bad WiFi and no smart tvs. Our Verizon cell service didn’t work well and the lodge’s WiFi was hit and miss (mostly miss) which was disappointing but didn’t take away from our enjoyable ski trip! Would stay here again.

Durango to Moab bike ride

Our group did the Durango to Moab Hut to Hut bike ride. This location was perfect as the resort is right at the start of the route. The accommodations were perfect. The only complaint was the sofa sleeper was not comfortable and we had to get a blanket from the front desk for the sofa bed. We loved the kitchen. Thank you.

Spacious 2 Bedroom

We stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding at Dantes. This rental is big for a two bedroom. Both bedrooms are very spacious and the bathrooms have lots of room. We cooked several meals in the more than adequate kitchen and ate meals at the dining table. There is a nice living area with TV and a balcony to lounge on and get some fresh air. There is some noise from what I think is the kitchen on the 1st floor, but nothing too terrible. I would recommend this rental for couples or even a small family. We had 4 adults and 2 children. The kids slept on the pullout couch and the adults slept well in the master king bedroom and the queen second bedroom.

Owner’s property was great. Club access was difficult.

Location of course is the best. It was clean, spacious, and well stocked with cooking supplies. Beds and pillows were nice, everything worked great. It would be nice to have any kind of access to Netflix or a smart TV, or mention this in the listing. Maybe I missed where this was listed since I assumed everywhere had a smart tv these days. :) Only having cable and a DVD player was disappointing for the girls who wanted to watch movies. Access to the Club was difficult since the keys did not work, so we could not get any DVDs for the sleepover, had to get help to enter for breakfast, couldn’t enter to order lunch from the pool, etc. I know that’s not the owners fault though. We visited the front desk several times regarding this but they said there was nothing they could do except prop the club door open. We would definitely stay here again.
