Winding Brook

The cabin was spacious, as well as the deck, and driveway. The location is great in the aspect of sitting on deck or at fire pit and can hear the babbling of creek. You can access the creek by way of a slope; not just a straight walk into. The outside area has privacy at night; there are trees on both sides of the cabin, but it is not secluded. If you plan to stay at the cabin and not leave every day and/or if you drive in a truck or 4 wheel drive, then the cabin may be perfect for you. There is a short route and a long route to the cabin; the longer route is more car friendly. Plenty of pillows and there was a standup fan in downstairs bedroom (aside from ceiling fan), which we were glad to use for more comfortable sleeping; the cabin didn't cool down enough for us. Hot tub was clean and operated properly, as well as the outdoor fireplace. We got lucky in one aspect and was able to attend a crawfish festival downtown. This was our 3rd trip to the area, and we will take note to check for spring break dates because there were so many people everywhere, long lines at times, etc. We like our visits when it's more quite LOL. Still beautiful places to enjoy the outdoors and relax with nature.
