Rest and Relaxation

We had a very peaceful, wonderful time at the property in Westhampton. It was as described and our host could not have been more attentive and responsive to any questions we had.

Great family vacation

Wonderful house for a relaxing week. Close to town and beaches. Pool was really lovely. Came equppied with everything you need. One note, there are steep outside stairs down to the pool deck, and indoors down to the entry level....not a problem for us at all but could be a concern for older folks.

Good for family with kids

Wonderful pool, about a half hour from a great beach. Bring your own bedding, towels, soap. Needs updating, absolutely no shades on windows so light comes in at sun rise, bring tape in shades too or you won’t sleep past 5:00am

Fabulous Home

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house is clean, bright and comfortable with plenty of seating. Views are amazing. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. All bedrooms have their their own bathrooms. The 2 decks are great for entertaining or just relaxing with family or friends. The kids had a great time in the pool and loved playing tennis. The owner is great to work with, and the property manager is responsive and always available. The week was perfect and I would highly recommend this home.

Summer of Covid

Despite COVID my family had a lovely summer, the home was comfortable, welcoming and spotless. The pool is beautiful and my 3 year old granddaughter and her grandfather spent most of the day in it. The property manager was always available but not intrusive. We loved the home!

Wedding Minimoon!

This was a fantastic property to stay at and my new wife and I enjoyed every minute of our time here. The location is excellent, the house was clean and well kept. The amenities were all in excellent condition and we took full advantage of the heated pool. The surrounding scenery was excellent, and very peaceful which was just what we needed. My communications with both the property owner and the property manager were excellent and they were both easy to speak with and provided us with lots of information. There are a lot of things to do in the local area, including beach access, however my wife and I were so happy with the house that we spent all our time there. Would highly recommend renting this property to others, and I will be hoping to rent it again next year!

Lovely Setting, Deck, Pool and Tennis Court

We really enjoyed this property - the peacefulness of the inlet and the birds that flew overhead, the deck and pool, the light filled living room. The house had everything we needed, and was very clean. The grounds were lovely as well.

A magical vacation!

This house is amazing! The view of the water and pool on the second level is so nice!! It is perfect how each room has its own bathroom. The dining room table is so big to accommodate a lot of people. It is so open and bright with lots of windows! Just being in the house is great for vacation. We tried some tennis and the playground was great for the kids! The pool was so refreshing! There is so much seating outside! It is so close to the beach and town! The owner of the property was amazing with communication. I emailed asking so many little questions and she was so nice and answered me back so quickly. There is a property manager that lives a couple houses down. He was so helpful and couldn’t be kinder. The whole experience was truly wonderful!! I highly recommend this house to everyone!!

Hamptons Paradise

The two of us, and our dog, rented this house and had lots of guests—children, grandchildren and friends. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful setting, inside and out. I can honestly say it appeals to any age group. Morning coffee on the upper deck with the view is a must, followed by dips in the pristine pool and challenges on the tennis court. Afternoons are either lazy or active-- visiting the charming main town nearby, shopping at the Riverhead outlets, going to the beach, playing golf, visiting a winery or reading in the hammock. It is also a short drive to the North Fork wineries and Southampton, but we are saving that for next time. The property manager checked on us to see that all was OK. We loved the privacy of the property and the bedrooms with private bathrooms. I also appreciated a fully equipped stocked house. All in all, just what a Hamptons vacation should be.

Perfection

We were 3 couples and 2 toddlers. Come here if you are looking to relax and have fun! All the spacious bedrooms with their own roomy bathrooms, and the layout where everyone has their own entrance to the pool deck, feels like luxury. It was also wonderful to be on the deck just feet away from checking on the children when they napped. The house is a good distance from the not-heavily-travelled road and from neighbors, so it always feels very quiet and private. The owner was so accommodating, supplying both a highchair and a pack-n-play. There is a fence around the pool so we didn’t need the child-proof pool fence, but enjoyed the swing set, and tennis court. It is just a wonderful, family-friendly environment. And the views, alone, are so beautiful. We will definitely come back.

Perfect family getaway

My extended family has stayed here three times before and are amazed each time how beautiful and serene it is. You can’t even see the neighbors. The grandchildren loved the pool, the tennis, the yard and the swings for the little ones. For the adults it is so luxurious to have spacious rooms to spread out in, and each bedroom with its own bathroom. The view of the preserve and creek is magnificent. We love to sit on the upper deck where there is always a gentle breeze from the Bay. The house is well maintained. It’s very clean with comfortable beds, great gathering areas, well-equipped kitchen, good air-conditioning, fast WiFi and good TV channels. The owner is very responsive both before and during the vacation. It is only a few miles to beautiful sandy beaches (umbrella, blanket and chairs provided), and a very short trip to Westhampton’s quaint Main Street. We look forward to many more years here.

Lovely home, beautiful view

This is an amazing place to enjoy family time. We are an extended family with a 2 year old and 8 mo old. This house was the perfect place for us. With the open layout of the living room, kitchen and dining room area, we could watch the children all the time. The pool, big swan float, and swing set were fabulous for the girls. The view is wonderful!! Being in the pool and looking out at the view is heaven. We loved the privacy and tranquility—especially since there is so much building going on in the city. The bedrooms are great-- the huge closets, private bathrooms and comfortable, cozy beds. This house is so nice for spending time together with family. And we couldn’t believe it was so convenient to get to it from the city, compared to the rest of the Hamptons.

Perfect!

If you want the Hamptons experience i.e. a sunny post modern house, with views of a creek that flows to the bay, beautiful birds in the preserve, totally private, stunning pool and bay breezes, and yet close to town and beaches, this is the place. Everything is extra-large--the bedrooms, the great room and the deck. All the bedrooms have their own bath, and private access to the deck and pool. The house is immaculate and well stocked with everything you would need. And the property manager is available at a moment’s notice. Play some tennis, jump in the pool, eat, rest in the hammock, repeat. It is the vacation you dream of.

LOOK NO FURTHER

We stayed with our kids, 4 and 7, my parents, sister and mother-in-law. A real plus about this beautiful, immaculate house, is the location. It’s a short drive to the village of Westhampton Beach, and to the beaches on Dune Road. The village is full of quaint shops and reasonably priced (the Post Stop and Beach Bakery Cafe) places to eat. It’s a family friendly town with ice creams shops, pizza, a gourmet country market and farmers market. If you want to venture a little further, we loved Dockers on Dune Road and Trumpets on the Bay in Eastport. An old-fashioned, inexpensive, non-tourist place for breakfast or lunch is the Eastport Luncheonette. There are many beaches very close that are reasonably priced. Our favorite was Cupsogue—good food, tables, entertainment. The spacious house, heated pool, tennis, bay breezes—all fabulous. The homeowners were attentive and prompt in responding to any questions. And the property manager is a jewel---whenever we goofed up, like losing our keys, he was right there. Oh, and don’t miss a winery tour since it's right near the North Fork.

A gem- highly recommend this oasis!

We have stayed on this gorgeous property many times. We are 2 couples, 4 children (one baby), and my sister-in law. I never tire of the view from picture windows in the great room high up over the beautiful creek and wildlife preserve. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans as you cook/chat in the kitchen, and keep an eye on the kids playing nearby. The bedrooms are on a separate floor from the living area so relaxing or sleeping the baby is a dream. The beds are very comfortable, and the bedrooms are huge. We made one closet into a nursery. The house is beautifully decorated with the beachy look you want in the Hamptons. Comfortable and very clean. Well maintained. You can tell it is not just a rental and the owners use it too. The grill was new. The grounds are lovely with a heated pool and a new deck. A removable child safety fence around the pool gave us peace of mind. The home is at the end of a long driveway and you can’t see or hear the neighbors. Our kids loved exploring, the swing set and tennis. Our dog Sophie (small dog) enjoyed herself too. The backyard space offers an array of different areas to relax or play horseshoe. My favorite spot is the hammock on the lower level where you can only hear the sounds of the preserve. Lots of amenities. We were particularly grateful for the use of beach chairs and coolers.

An Amazing Tiime

We were three couples and had the most relaxing, enjoyable vacation. We have rented many places in the Hamptons and this was outstanding. The layout is great. Every bedroom has its own bath and sliders to the pool deck, where you can lounge or watch the wildlife on the creek. Very private and clean. It was hard to leave the tranquil house and grounds, but the beaches on Dune Road and the town of Westhampton Beach are closeby. The cooks in the group were happy about the well equipped kitchen, and entertaining was a breeze. The tennis court is beautiful. Many thanks to the Property Manager who was so responsive and helpful.

Best Hampton Vacation!

From the warm welcome to the gorgeous surroundings, our time was even more enjoyable than we hoped for. With 3 adults, 3 children and our dog, we were delighted with the very roomy quarters and abundance of amenities. This sunny, beautifully furnished house overlooks a stunning wildlife preserve. Between the large pool and decks, tennis court, quiet area with hammock, playset and beautiful creek views, we were always engaged. We also appreciated the quiet neighborhood and attractive residential streets to walk or bike through. Will definitely return.

Very nice, spacious rental

We had a very nice stay at this Westhampton home. The home was sunny, spacious, clean and nicely maintained. Our family enjoyed the pool, tennis court and swing set. The property manager dealt with the one maintenance issue that came up amazingly promptly and was extremely helpful and courteous. The only minor negative was that while the lease did state that "Tenant shall pay for utilities and services provided at the Premises, including: cleaning fee, electric, oil, trash removal, grounds, tennis and pool maintenance" we would have preferred knowing upfront that a meaningful cleaning fee would be assessed even if we left the house in good condition on top of the additional money we were charged for using the tennis court and pool heater (which we barely used as we were terrified of how much we might be billed for that). All in all though...it was lovely house and a fun family vacation. : )

Having retired from my own technology marketing company, I am now involved in social justice organizations. But life is mostly filled with grandchildren and travel. My family has always had the most wonderful times year round in this house, especially the holidays and summers.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I were looking for a small, pristine place to get away and relax. Instead, we bought this large house whose grounds hadn’t been kept up. But we fell in love with the view, and fixing it up was pure joy. At the time, the duck farmer who owned all the property on this street, began selling the lots. Now it’s is filled with beautiful houses.

What makes this property unique

Because Bushy Neck Creek was designated a wild life preserve, trees cannot be removed on the far side to build homes. I believe this gives us the kind of unique view and sense of privacy that is very hard to find in the Hamptons these days.
