We stayed here for a quick anniversary trip. The cabin was very clean, cute, and cozy! It was also a very short drive to our favorite hike in NC, High Falls trail! We very much enjoyed our short stay. Thank you!
This was a last minute getaway weekend for my husband and I. Very nice house, clean, close to everything, owner gave us many suggestions for places to go, very available if we had any questions, we didn’t. We enjoyed our weekend here!
The cabin was beautiful and spotless clean on our arrival. Check in was easy and the host communicated with us before and during our stay to ensure everything was going smoothly. We especially appreciated the fast WiFi as we had no cell reception at the cabin, the WiFi was good enough that this didn’t matter. Thank you for a great weekend, and we hope to come back!
We truly enjoyed being there.
The house was welcoming, clean, all ammenities and a wonderful view.
We give it our highest rating and look forward to visiting again.
The cabin is in a great location, quick to get to from the main road yet without any street noise. It was cozy and very comfortable for two adults.
Getting to the cabin requires driving on a single lane dirt road, and we did encounter other cars on occasion which required one of us to pull to the side or to back up. This is very common in the Cashiers area to have a winding single road, and this one is relatively short.
Also common for the area, we did not have any cell service at the cabin and the WiFi was very spotty. Not a big deal if you’re vacationing, however we were working while here and had to drive into town to have cell service or use the public WiFi. Not something we expected

This is a clean peaceful cabin with a deck and main floor living above and two bedrooms below, on a shaded sloping lot adjacent to a creek. No cell service at this location and wifi speed is limited (insufficient for HD video streaming). Expedia booking not necessary as this is a VRBO-listed property; excellent owner communication. Seems pricy for remote location.
Short drive up a gravel road - secluded property. Close to the road, but it didnt matter - no one was able to see you. Short drive to the Lake and Cashiers. Great location. Nice folks own the property.
The owners are super nice. Cabin could use some things like a baking sheet, casserole dish etc. it’s pretty but pretty isolated up a gravel road. I think it’s good value overall.
This is a wonderful cabin full of charm! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is perfect, only 10 minutes from Cashiers and right near the lake. It was a perfect spot for our family of five; the 7 and 4 year old shared a bedroom and our two year old had plenty of room for her pack 'n play with us in the Master. The cabin was very clean and the owners were so helpful and easy to contact. Can't recommend this cabin enough!
This very special property provided all the comforts of home amidst a spectacular mountain landscape. It is a very private location yet close to everything you might want to do. Quite simply, our stay at the “cabin” was fantastic. It met our every need except for limited to no cellular service, which one should expect while staying in the mountains. The Wi-Fi more than made up for it. It was great experience for all of us to stay there.
The cabin is well furnished for our family of three's week vacation. The location is nice and quiet but still within a 30-45 minute drive of spectacular hiking. The owners are great and responded to our questions very quickly. They even reached out during our stay to make sure everything was going well.
Tanya was quite understanding that we were renting the cabin because ours was burglarized one hour away. We live in Fl. 30 minutes after I booked a non refundable place to sleep, my Mom had a Bleeding Stroke. My Mom is going to die within days at Melech Hospice House. Tanya was kind enough to refund a portion of the money. Grateful 🙏
Amazing cabin and hosts. Beautiful interior and beautiful view. Hosts were so accommodating on short notice. Far enough away to have your own space, close enough to Cashiers and Highlands to be in town in 10-15 minutes.
The property was clean, comfortable and very nice both inside and out. Beautiful Mountain View, quiet, private yard and deck. Hosts were extremely kind, accommodating and responsive. Plenty of things to do and places to eat nearby in Cashiers. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again.
We enjoyed our time at this cabin in the mountains. Tanya and John were wonderful hosts. The property is beautiful with flowers everywhere and a small babbling brook running through it We enjoyed the lovely view from the back deck each morning and evening. Location is very neat Lake Glenville.
This sweet little cabin was recently restored by the owners ( I was told this by a neighbor walking by) and it was a lovely place to spend the long holiday weekend. The bed was comfy, the towels were plush and the view from the back deck was to die for! We loved the open floor plan and the hardwood floors are gorgeous! There is a very cool barn on the property that my husband also had to have his photo taken in front of! Tanya and John also left thoughtful little gifts and necessities ( my husband forgot his toothbrush and we were so grateful to discover the travel toothbrush/paste kits they offered). The location is super close to Lake Glenville and a pleasant drive to Cashiers, Sylva and Highlands. We hope to return to this sweet spot soon!
