Inviting living room with fireplace, small game room with chess table, full dining area, kitchen with dishwasher. Porch that wraps around the front of the home with a front porch swing. Flat screen smart tvs mounted in every bedroom, also living room and game room. Fully updated kitchen with dishwasher and espresso maker included. Patio and small back yard area that includes smokeless fire pit and Adirondack chairs, corn hole set, and bikes. Carport allows 2 cars in driveway. Home protected by Simply Safe alarm.

2 block walk from a beautiful Riverwalk Park, and 3 block walk from downtown Niles, which has charming restaurants, tea and coffee shops, and antique stores.

15 min drive from Notre Dame and South Bend area.

30 min drive from New Buffalo and St. Joseph, two popular beach towns located on Lake Michigan.

Wonderful family reunion

Comfortable bedrooms, well supplied, if slightly tight kitchen. Pleasant backyard, good for sitting around the firepit by night and toddler play by day. Great location for walking into town and along the River Trail.

ND weekend

The place was perfect! Clean and a great kitchen area…kureg with cups waiting. Very nice area to watch TV. Really clean and the host/owner was great with information prior to our arrival. Very close to downtown which has a brewery and distillery. Grocery store a few minutes away. Easy 20 minute drive to ND campus. Highly recommend! Scott

Relaxing and Inviting

My family and I needed a place to stay overnight after attending a wedding at Notre Dame. We were able to check in after the ceremony and relax, take our shoes off, and have some snacks before returning for the reception. This property is in a quiet neighborhood and was the perfect place for us. It was a short 25 minutes drive to the Palais Royal in South Bend. After the reception we came back and stayed over until checkout in the next morning. The house is fully stocked with all the comforts of home. We wish we had more time to spend. We would have enjoyed the patio, fire pit and wrap around porch. We definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Great house and super responsive hosts

Just can’t say enough good things about our stay. There were 3 adults and 2 children and so much room to spare. We used the kitchen and laundry facilities and everything was perfect. Beds were comfortable and even though the bathrooms are small, strong water pressure and bathroom amenities more than make up for it. Overall I would highly recommend this house and am thrilled to be coming back in October with another group of friends to stay at this great place! Hosts answered all my question super fast - which we really appreciated.

Summer Vacation

Our goal was rest & time with our adult children, family members from northern MI & final day with our best friends. Accomplished! Our host was responsive when we had needs/questions. The stay required us to trim a bush (so porch swing could be used), put 3 trash cans at curb for trash day (must have been very old trash/maggots - so nasty) & the cleaning service did not handle anything on porches - just really dirty. Inside of home met all our needs & fairly clean. Had to request DW tabs & paper towels. Beds comfortable but living room couch very low & not comfortable. (I have had both hips & knees replaced to painful getting up from couch)

Niles House

We really enjoyed our stay at River Walk Retreat. Nice big house with a ton of room. Very well equipped and great beds. Owners are very responsive and accommodating. We had a big group and there was plenty of space for everyone. Nice back patio where awe enjoyed the fire pit. Would stay here again.

Cozy victorian in a great location

Home for the Holidays

My daughter and I, along with our two dogs, stayed in this house over Christmas. It just so happened, it was also during a blizzard. We were able to book and extra day last minute due to weather. Every time I contacted the owner, I always heard back within minutes. The driveway was plowed several times during our stay. We had a great time! House was perfect!

We loved the house; It was beautiful. Had fun exporling all the rooms, counting the doors, and trying to determine what house was prior. Only con...grass was cut @ 730am on a Sunday...woke up the entire house. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Everything was wonderful! Beautiful, clean, so many wonderful amenities! Well stocked kitchen! Walking distance to downtown shops and coffee! Perfect for 4 couples each in their own room and a little dog. Backyard is fenced for the dog. Plenty of parking for 4 cars. Beautiful swing to watch the Main Street. Your family will love this place too!

The home was spacious and absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed for a perfect, relaxing family vacation. Perfect central location

This house felt like home. Beds were comfy. Plenty of room to spread out. Well stocked kitchen. Great attention to details that made our stay a little sweeter . . . like Keurig pods :). We took a tour of Notre Dame (15 min. drive), saw the lighthouse and beautiful sunset in St. Joseph (30 min. drive), and climbed the dunes at Warren Dunes State Park (30 min. drive). We were very pleased with our stay and hope to return one day!
