I'm a software developer living in the Greater Wenatchee area. I moved here fulltime from the Seattle area because I can live in a beautiful area like Wenatchee and still do my job. I'm married and have a 2-year old son, two cats, and 1 dog. We love Wenatchee and know you will, too.
Why they chose this property
I purchased this home when I lived in the Seattle area working for Microsoft and used it as my vacation home. I bought it mainly for skiing at the Mission Ridge Ski & Snowboard resort which is literally 5 minutes up the hill. I also enjoyed snowmobiling right out of my driveway and in the summer there are mountain biking and hiking trails less than 5 minutes away. (The property line is up against Squilchuck State Park). Now I live fulltime in this area and have turned this mountain retreat into an incredible escape for people who love skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and simply enjoying the great outdoors.
What makes this property unique
5 minutes drive up to Mission Ridge Ski & Boarding Resort. 5 minutes walk to Squilchuck State Park for mountain biking trails and hiking. A stream crossing the property and less than 100 feet from the house. Situated on three-quarters of an acre so you've got room to breathe. Beautiful upper deck off of the kitchen for relaxing at the end of a busy day, listening to the creek. Screened-in porch outside the daylight basement. Huge TV, fast internet, awesome kitchen, plenty of space, and quick 10-minute drive into town (sure beats the 45-minute commute I had when I lived in the Seattle area).
