Very nice house that is an easy 1 mile walk to downtown St. Augustine. The large back porch with rocking chairs overlooking a small lake and quiet neighborhood was the perfect gathering spot for our family to hang out together. House was clean and well equipped, and check-in was easy. Our family would certainly stay here again whenever back in St. Augustine.
We booked the Boyce House for our mom's 80th birthday celebration. I must say, WE all loved the house and the hostory of the house. It was a perfect representation of the history of St. Augustine- location, charm, appeal, perfect size, it had it all.
It was ideal for our purposes, and would stay again.
Suppose to have rented from June 8-11 for out of town family for wedding. Went to property early after confirming with owner this was okay. Upon arrival found a gentleman spraying with what looked like something you get at Walmart for Fleas, Bedbugs, Ticks. Alerted the owner to tell her my family would not be staying in a flea infested house and did she have any suggestions to help with this terrible position I was in as my out of town guest had no place to stay. She offered the number of a cleaner person and suggested I contact him to see if any houses he cleans were available!!! Really!!! Gave me a full refund but thank goodness I found another property on my own!!! Inexcusable !! Would NEVER STAY at this property!!!
We had another VRBO house cancel on us 4 hours before check in (they had an emergency at the house) and Devon was extremely helpful and accommodating. She went out of her way to get her house turned around quickly so we could get everyone in and ready for the rehearsal on time. The house is absolutely beautiful, it's in a perfect location ( walkable to historic downtown and across from a lake), and it was large enough to accommodate our group. It had everything you would need, it was celan and just as described. We would definitely rent the place again. Thanks for everything Devon. You were fantastic.
This house is wonderful. We loved it’s history and the location is great. The neighborhood is quiet and we were able to walk to all the shop/restaurants. My son enjoyed the games that were provided as well as the fenced in yard. The house is very well stocked. We would definitely stay again.
This was our first time visiting St. Augustine and we loved it! We were very pleased with our stay at this lovely historical home! The home was clean and spacious. It was a nice walk to downtown, and we enjoyed taking in the scenery. The backyard was fenced in making it perfect for the kids to play in. Sitting on the back porch, relaxing in the rocking chairs watching the horse and carriages trot by was our favorite part! We definitely recommend this home and will be back!!
