Property was BAD
Property was cluttered with junk all on the outside of the property. The property smelled of old dirty laundry and urine. I would not under any circumstances
The home was disgusting. There was a stinch of cigarettes and cat pee or something equally as horrible. There was dog hair all over the place. Filth on the walls. Within 20 minutes of arrival my throat and eyes started itching, my nose was running, and my breathing was affected. We left to grab dinner and I reached out to the host. I never heard back so we packed up after we got back from dinner and drove 7 hours back home. The next day the host responded saying “sorry you experienced that”. It was advertised as no smoking, but it reeked of cigarettes and there were visible ashes inside. I sent him pics of the home and was told he couldn’t determine that the dog hair didn’t belong to my pets. He also said that the pictures weren’t consistent with the cleaners standards. That home has not properly been cleaned in a long time judging by the build up along the baseboards. We basically paid to spend less than an hour in a home before it became medically necessary to leave.
This property is pretty much as advertised. The house was clean, bed was comfortable, the shower was hot. The location is close to the lake, restaurants, and any short term shopping needs. I did not need anything more.
The house was in pretty good shape. There were are few things that needed fixing.
There was a few major that needed fixing. One of the major things that needed fixing is the shower. There was a head for the shower, but it was not hooked into the tub water and no turn on value. Also no wash rags. We still enjoyed the stay.

A little better than Super 8, but more pricy!
The house was great location near relatives. We arrived late in evening and found the house at 51 degrees even though thermostat was set for 60. It took until 300 am until it got to 64 degrees. Very irritating.
Owner never replied to our call. House was fairly clean, shower was OK but had persistent drip. Bring your own extra towels. We really didn't use the kitchen, but it seemed OK. It's a decent, basic place, but you wouldn't really want to more than just sleep there. It is very close to the main road and always a little crazy making the turn into it with speeding drivers.
We had a few minor issues with plumbing and a few key details missing but overall stay was decent.
The beds are by far the most amazing part of this stay and very comfortable for a wonderful nights sleep. Cory the host is quite responsive and that increases the stay value.
This one is identical to the brown one and is just right for our small family of 5.
This rental was hands down 1,000 times better staying in a hotel.
We would stay again and recommend a stay.
We stayed at this property to be close to our daughters wedding venue. It was a small house but was very comfortable for us. We could not get the wifi to work and the owner did try to help us, but we could not get it to connect. We were gone most of the time anyway for the wedding so it was ok. We appreciated that he answered quickly and tried to help us figure it out. The check in process was simple and the location was great.
The only thing I might suggest would be to bring your own towels. We only had 4 towels in the house for our stay, but fortunately I had brought our own so it wasn't a problem for us.
Overall, it was a great little house and the owner is very receptive to any issues and quickly helps to figure them out. Had we been at the house more I am sure we would have had enough communication to get the wifi up and running.
This place is nothing like the pictures. The pictures in this ad are unfocused from a far. The shower curtain is closed , and I see why . As soon as we walked in there was a dank mold smell , after inspection could see mold bleeding through paint in spots. My daughter has asthma, we did not feel it was safe for her to be there , we called host explaining our situation. We drove 7 hours to get there to be greeted with disappointment. We got a hotel for the night , waited to hear from host who would look into situation. The next day as we needed to check out of hotel ,not having anymore communication with host . We had to make other accommodations at last minute , then drove another 6 hours to a beautiful house. A complete waste of time and money. I was only refunded they cleaning fee , which house was not clean , swept nothing when we arrived. And half of first night. I have used VRBO in the past and never had a disappointment , places such as this one will ruin there reputation. This is a place you would not want to stay even if it was free!!!!!
