Cabin fever overall

The property was nice but a bit disappointed that there was no view of the mountains from the porch. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the very large inside tub as much as we did the outside hot tub. Overall it was a nice place.

Cozy cabin

This was an amazingly cabin, very clean and had plenty of appliances if needed. It's very private and quiet. We saw a bear in the morning of our second day. He was checking out the garbage are, we saw several while driving into town. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Cabin fever vacation

The cabin is overall clean, needs some new skillets and pot holders, there were bugs that kept showing up in bathrooms, but overall it was a nice nook away from the busy crowd.

Great place to stay

The entire cabin was very clean. The hot tub was big enough for four. Front porch and back porch was a great pace to sit and relax with my morning cup of coffee. Bedrooms were a good size and beds were very comfortable. They had all the essentials we needed such as paper towels, toilet paper, laundry pods etc. Definitely would stay again!

Great log cabin feel!

This cabin fits our needs for our stay. Perfect space for a family of 5. The kitchen was a good size and made prepping breakfast each morning a breeze. Bedrooms were a great size. Everything in the cabin was "log" and it was just perfect was a stay in the mountains. The hot tub was also a perfect ending to every day. We enjoyed our stay!

A nice log cabin and with a great location to Gatlinburg.

We enjoyed our stay at Cabin Fever. The cabin was cute and we loved the firepit and the hot tub on the back porch. We had a little trouble with the television but it was fixed by the next day. We would recommend it for future travelers.

Great experience in this cabin. We loved the nature there, the trees around the cabin, the decoration for everywhere, we spent a funny time in the pool table and hot tub. The fireplace outside is great to take the coffee every morning and sharing with family the bbq during night. The quite there is perfect. We had the chance to see in our cabin a bear. He was there a day and the rest of night. We never left food outside but he smelled the bbq. I recommended booking this cabin.

Cozy cabin

Overall we had a very nice stay. The cabin is cozy yet spacious. Had a very nice screened in balcony. A few things that would have been nice to know prior to staying is that we needed to bring all paper products such as toilet paper and paper towel. Some of the furnishing were in need of repair such as the stools. We made sure not to use them in fear of them breaking. We were told there was a fire ban so we could not use the firepit, but upon further research, there seemed to be no ban. We couldn't use the firepit anyway because it was overflowing with ash. We were also told to take trash out to caged garbage bins, but they were overflowing from individuals. Despite some of the issues, I'd stay here again.

Spacious & Great Location

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Cabin Fever. Our only issue was the fire pit was overflowing with ash and cigarette butts when we got there. You could tell this wasn’t just from the last visitors but had not been tended to for quite some time. After making contact with the property manager/owner we were able to resolve the issue. The kitchen is pretty stocked but lacks cookie sheets to bake pizzas on. Thankfully, we found some aluminum grill pans in a cabinet to use. Come prepared with paper products as minimal items are provided (trash can liners, paper towels etc.) Also, bring extra hand soap for bathrooms/kitchen sink. We only had one in the upstairs bathroom. The cabin had plenty of space for our kids to play and did not feel crowded. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the screened in deck each morning. The cabin is close to town but still in the mountains. We even saw a black bear on our last morning!!

Gatlinburg trip 2023

The cabin was clean and just the right size for us. The commute to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg wasn’t bad at all. I enjoyed sitting on the screened in deck in the morning while reading a book. One morning I heard rustling of leaves and sticks breaking, then I looked down at the floor and between the boards, I saw a bear walking under the deck. We also saw a bear standing in front of another cabin about a 1/4 mile from our cabin. My sister and niece drove over from Nashville and stayed with us. We loved spending the evenings on the front deck! We highly recommend taking in the Murder Mystery dinner!

Great Cabin!!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5. It was cleaned very well. It is also decently stocked in the kitchen. The hot tub was a great touch as we were able to relax at the end of each day. We have three young kids and they loved it. The best part of the cabin experience was seeing a beautiful black bear in the driveway mid-week during our stay. We were on the back porch (looking out the screened porch area) at about 6:30am and we watched it walk around for about 10 minutes before it disappeared up the mountain. The location of the cabin is up the mountain a decent bit, but it was truly great. The owners were friendly and very accommodating when we spoke to them. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Cabin Fever and we would rent this cabin again!!

Cabin Fever June 2023

The cabin fit our family of 5 well, it would be to cramped for more than 5 people. The bedrooms are nice size, but the living room is small, only had room for 4 people to sit on couch and a recliner and 3 bar stools but it was cramped together. Kids enjoyed playing with the pool table and had nice size front porch where the kids would hangout. Fire pit, we wasn’t able to use it because of the fire ban, there was three chairs around the fire pit and a table, there is a decent size charcoal grill outside. We had to clean it before using it. The hot tub was nice to use, but it was really cramped around it with having to take the top off and put back on after using each time. Kitchen had clean fridge, there are pots and pans and utensils to eat with, plates, cups, bowls and glasses and cooking utensils to use with the grill. Need to bring own foil to use with the grill. There was only two thin trash bags for the week we stayed. We cooked at the cabin for most the time for breakfast and dinner some. So we had a lot of trash. Came stocked with two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. A few dishwashing pods and detergent pods. We had a great time at this cabin. Definitely would recommend. Most places didn’t have a view of the mountains because of the trees, but if you walk to the right of the fence in the front and up towards the cabins you have a beautiful clear view of the mountains.

Cute and cozy but proximity a bit impractical

The cabin looks absolutely beautiful but Is rather smaller than pictures lead on. It is almost impossible to play at the pool table upstairs because you cannot make any shots with the proximity. Owner also has a sign stating pool table is not to be moved. The cleanliness of the cabin was less than par. Dust bunnies were under the bed, and the jacuzzi tub upstairs had a lot of stains surrounding it that were not cleaned up. Cobwebs hung around every corner of the house. The same goes for the bathrooms and the rest of the house, honestly. I was very disappointed in regards to cleanliness. And then there’s the driveway. It is extremely hard to turn into through very windy roads (which was fine because thats TN for you), but you cannot see when going up it. You need to pretty much hope there’s nothing in front of the cabin, so you don’t hit it when you get up there. Lastly, our company very much so enjoyed the hot tub. It was a nice reprieve to the day to soak and just relax. The cabin decorations were beautiful. A bear did visit us to say hello and it was close to everything we wanted to see! A good choice in regards to that. Overall, I would not stay here again because of the cleanliness and lack of ability to use the main recreation of the house (the pool table). Other than that though, it is very close to main attractions and allows you a place to sit back and relax between events.
