Before you book, please click on "Contact Host" and ask for a accurate offer! Take the chance and ask all questions you might have before you book. We will be glad to answer them as soon as possible.

In general we rent the house from Sat-Sat on a weekly basis, but make exemptions. Please ask for it before you create any booking request.

Please, make sure to enter the correct amount of guests.
You are renting a private owned vacation home and these requirements have to be met, please without delay. After your booking confirmation the following information for the contract is required: the renters name and physical address plus phone number and date of birth and also the names and dates of birth of each guest. It is expected to get the information after the booking and then the contract provided signed back immediately. Without a signed contract the house cannot be secured with the owner and without signed contract we are not allowed to get any access to the house.

Please note there is a net basis rate for the house per week for a certain amount of guests according to our price list under "Rates and Availability". There you also see the electric fee the property manager will charge you during check out.

City Codes and Ordinances of the City of Cape Coral requires for short term vacation rentals a minimum stay of 7 days, please ask for exemptions.


Covid-19:
We highly recommend to get travel insurance to cover any health issues.

The house gets cleaned according the CDC guidelines and standards according Covid-19 although it is not required any longer as the house was cleaned according such high standards even before Covid-19. The house is well-ventilated throughout after guests leave and before new guests get there.

Toilet paper, soap and paper towels are available when you arrive, min. 1 roll in each bath and kitchen. Thank you for your understanding that we cannot provide those items for your entire stay like hotels do.

Min.2 weeks stay+seasonal price increase of 20% during Easter/Xmas vacation time - IF you are not sure about those time frames PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY BOOKING as otherwise your down payment will be blocked by HomeAway! Admin. fee is USD 5/guest/night, min. USD 140/week. We also make sometimes exemptions from the 2 weeks rule, but PLEASE ask BEFORE you create a booking - We usually rent from Saturdays to Saturdays during non Xmas and non_Eastern times. We make exemptions, but will make the decisions from case to case.

Pets: We would like to point out we only can accept dogs, after we will have talked to the owner. We need to know the bread and weight of the dog and the confirmation he or she does not go on furniture. We do not allow any other pets. As long as we will not have confirmed to you in writing anything else, the "no pet policy" of our T&C is still valid. If you bring a pet some you will have increased costs, eg. cleaning and higher security deposit.

Electric costs: USD 0.14/kWh and will be charged over the VRBO system after your stay. The property manager shows how you can follow your consumption any time during your stay. Costs are depending on amount of guests, weather impacts and behavior and is usually between 40 - 150/week and the electric rate per kWh can change without notice as electric providers have already increases prices which might increase again..

Vacation paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet yet close to shopping, church, and restaurants. The house was showing wear in some areas, but nothing that would affect enjoyment. The pool and huge lanai were comfortable and relaxing. There were even burrowing owls in the front yard. We would definitely stay at this property again, and in fact wanted to book for next year but it was already taken.

Outdated Property with Many Rules

We had to sign a contract with many rules before we rented. The exterior and kitchen is in poor shape and outdated. Upon arrival the dishwasher was in disrepair and the air did not work. It took 36 hours for the air to be repaired - they did take 50.00 off the electric bill for us. The house is cluttered with decorations but the pool area is nice and extremely slippery when wet. Signs around the home declared the owner is not responsible if you fall.

This was a great house to stay in. Great neighborhood and beaches nearby. The heated pool was amazing. Communication with property owner and manager was easy they answered all my questions. Over all this vacation was perfect.

Beautiful home but needs updating

Pool leaked. Had to add water for over two hours every day so too cold to try to heat so couldn’t use. Very difficult to get in and out of hot tub and because we had to continually add water couldn’t heat up easily. Very old way to heat pool. Hot tub bubbles spilled all over deck. Tile on pool deck was extremely slippery when wet. Signs posted about slipping but the need to spray a nonslipping surface in tiles. Master bed mattress very uncomfortable. Couldn’t use bbq as was all rusty even after cleaning it twice with vinegar and baking soda. Master shower valve was rusted and couldn’t put it on. We had to use second bathroom to shower. Owners had too many breakable items around and had so many kitchen appliances, etc there was no room for food storage but didn’t have measuring cups or spoons. We never wear shoes in houses but our feet were filthy every day. Couldn’t use garage as owners car was in the garage.

Large spacious home with heated private pool

Home is very clean. Furniture was comfortable. Outdoor lanai had two tables one with six chairs one with four chairs and other cushioned outdoor furniture. kitchen was amply supplied with dishes, silverware, and cookware. .

Extremely outdated property nothing like the photos

Kitchen is very small nothing like the photos. No where to store any thing personal in the kitchen , all the cabinets are filled with personal items and restricted padlocks in some areas . It felt like I was intruding instead of renting. Outdoor pool area is accident waiting by to happen ,, Very old, cracked and slippery tile. Shower in master has a rope to hold the shower head which won’t work if your over 5ft tall. Decided not to use the master bath instead we use the guest bathroom. Garage is not available .. it has some car in it and you can’t park in the garage , only outdoor parking. So if it’s raining you get wet. Do not expect to speak to the owners through vrbo, they mainly speak to you and encourage Communication through their own personal email.. they have a separate rental agreement that you should read thoroughly.. The pool is very large which is good but needs a major resurfacing .. the beds are extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is nice and quiet yet you’re still close to necessities. For the price I give it two stars !!

Vacation

2 week vacation stay was just what we needed and this was the place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. It was just close enough to the convinces but away from all the traffic. The neighbors were very nice and helpful with pointing us the direction of good local restaurants. Had a water issue with the master bath and the property manager was on top of it ASAP ! We would definitely consider this property in the future.

4 stars property; 1 star owner communication, additional charges & policies; 2 stars overall

On the positive side, the property had a nice layout, was clean and well appointed. Our only "property" complaint (as noted by a previous reviewer) was the limited kitchen storage space for renter food items (all cabinets were filled with owner kitchen items). We had to work out of boxes on the floor for cereal, bread, chips, coffee and all other can, bottle, box and jar goods. On the negative side, there were significant owner communication issues. Our e-mail communication with the owners (who live in Germany) resulted in delays in responses due to time changes and misunderstandings due to language barriers. Another problem was that the owners did not want to communicate through the VRBO system, and only via personal email, which was a first for us for a VRBO rental?? This resulted in missing message documentation in the VRBO system. Also, be sure to read the listing carefully. There was an additional charge for our 11-year-old daughter (that was also a first). There was a large additional cleaning charge for our pet, on top of the standard cleaning charge, totaling several hundreds of dollars for a 5-day rental (and we left the property spotless). There is an electricity surcharge for usage per week based on meter readings (which were not correct when we checked in). Also, an additional charge if the gas grill was not cleaned to the owner’s satisfaction. We had to sign a separate rental agreement with the owner via email (another first??) that was outside of the standard VRBO contract?? The most aggravating issue was that the owner would not reimburse our pet security deposit through the VRBO system even though that is how it was originally paid?? The owner's policy is to refund the deposit (by personal check??) after 6 weeks even though the VRBO policy states that deposits should be reimbursed within 2 weeks through the VRBO system! Lastly, we paid for property damage insurance through VRBO, so a large pet deposit seemed unnecessary. By the time we got done with all the additional charges, the actual rate per night ended up costing us significantly more than the standard rate per night (not including the pet deposit). We also opened 2 cases (complaints) with VRBO regarding the return of our pet deposit and VRBO never followed up on either case. This was definitely the worse VRBO experience (aggravation wise) out of the several VRBO rentals we have done over the years.

Great location and beautiful home

This was one of the nicest homes I have ever rented. We loved the pool area. We had an issue with the hot tub and pool not heating- but Sigrid was amazing. We enjoyed taking walks and didn’t even need to leave the neighborhood to have a relaxing time. The pool area does get quite slippery with the tile that is there. Otherwise- it was the perfect week!!! Thank you for having us!!!!!!

Terrific outdoor space!

The lanai is outstanding with wonderful outdoor tables for eating, plus multiple super comfortable pool chairs and loungers to relax in the sun. The hot tub is easy to turn on and the pool is beautiful. Grilling is easy with the brand new grill. The outdoor space is large, but caution with children when the pool deck is wet, it is very slippery. The property's floor plan is great including a comfortable living room opening up to the lanai area, a spacious master bedroom and 2 guest bedrooms on the opposite side of the home. Both the local property manager, Sigrid, and the property contact, Heidi, are FABULOUS to work with. We have rented 5 other properties over the past 6 years and this is the best pool & lanai space.

Great location for a February stay in Cape Coral. Enjoyed the sunrise and sunset over the canal waters. The neighborhood is quiet with friendly neighbors you'll meet while taking your daily walk. Close to grocery stores without having to navigate/use the main street.

Great pool and hot tub

We really enjoyed staying here and it is definitely one of our top vacations. The only problem we did have is there was a lot of breakable decor in reach of small children. We have a two year old and it was a constant worry he would knock something over. We felt the locks were good for keeping the little kids off the pool deck though which was a huge relief. The pool and spa are great and we heated them in January. It was the perfect get away to escape cooler weather in Virginia without being too hot.

Very nice, homey feeling

An excellent house that does not feel like a rental property at all. We suspect that the owners actually live here, but due to this unusual year, they could not come. A fully furnished kitchen allowed for a good amount of Christmas cooking. Comfy beds. Heated pool, we easily got the temperature to the high 80s and kept it there for a week - a great relief in the December cold! We ended up paying about $110 for the pool heating for a week, which is not too bad I guess. Shops are nearby, Publix is 5 minutes away. The only downside is that it is pretty far from the beaches, but in the year of COVID it did not matter.

This home is perfect to stay in. It is very clean and has everything you could possibly need. The pool area is large and allows for great entertaining. It sits in a very nice neighborhood, close to grocery stores and fun outside restaurants. I highly recommend to either a family or friends looking to get away.

Great private waterfront location

Had a great week here. Had a couple issues with TV / Internet but were resolved quickly by owners. Beautiful private screened patio with small pool, hot tub and lots of seating for everyone. Great place for families with the garage turned into a game room with pool table, Air hockey, kayak, bikes and more. Have two separate TV living areas. Three bedrooms but fair warning - the master king bed was very high and difficult for us older folks to use. Fishing off back deck was great. Lots of catfish & snook with live shrimp. Had a dolphin swim by on first day too. Close to Pine Island and Matlacha (great little ‘Old Florida’ town with fun shopping & restaurants) but about 20 minutes to most activities in Cape Coral. We felt the drive was worth having the quiet private location. Recommended!

House was great. Pictures and description of the house do not lie. Our property manager was very nice and helpful. Only thing to caution is pay attention on how the use the hot tub. You have to manually switch a couple valves to heat it. Otherwise I would deffinatly recommend renting here.

Great Stay

This home was very comfortable and close to everything. Sigrid, our property manager, was wonderful and very responsive. There were a couple of repairs that were needed and she took care of it immediately. The home needs a new stove and microwave but because it is a wall unit it probably won't be replaced. The microwave only has one setting that works. The kitchen is smaller but efficient. There is very little storage because cupboards and pantry are full of utensils and pans, and serving bowls, etc. The pool is great. It is heated, but need to have the heating unit up to 84 or more to be comfortable.....worth the extra money that you will pay. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. The canal is not clean or safe to use. The deck definitely needs repair. Sun rises and sunsets are gorgeous. The layout of guest rooms and master bedroom is nice with each on separate side of the house. Each bedroom needs to have dressers for storage. I would recommend this home.
