Kauai’s Most Breathtaking Views at Hanalei Bay Resort

Welcome to your Kauai Paradise. Unit 9201 is located in the renowned Bamboo building which features the most stunning views of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai.

This recently updated, air conditioned studio condo features a comfortable king size bed beneath a Koa wood ceiling fan, which looks out onto your private lanai. This is an end unit with windows on the side with views of the mountains, as well as the bay and Bali Hai. A twin sized sofa sleeper allows for a third guest. Kitchenette features a mini refrigerator, coffee maker, teapot, glasses, dishes, and silverware. The resort has washers and dryers located within steps of this unit.

Imagine yourself on the lanai with your morning coffee or an evening cocktail overlooking the turquoise bay after spending the day at our nearby beach with our full compliment of beach toys including beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, and coolers.

The Hanalei Bay Resort is a tropical paradise with eight hard surface and clay tennis courts, Kauai’s only swim up bar in a lagoon style pool, and a restaurant serving cocktails and dinner seven days a week. Concierge service, optional valet parking, golf cart transport around the resort and to the beach, tennis and pool amenities, and wi-fi are all included in the reasonable resort fees, see below. These fees are not included in this booking, they are to be paid directly to the resort upon check in.

Note that this unit may be paired with unit 9202 and 9203 to make a 1300 square foot two bedroom or 1750 square foot three bedroom oasis for up to eight guests. Please see VRBO listings 2375600 and 2375624 or if you want all 3 units 2375687 for rates and availability.

GUEST NOTICE -- A $50.00 Check-In Fee is required for each reservation. Non-Hanalei Bay Resort owners are subject to a daily Resort Fee of $25.00 plus tax, and a daily Parking Fee of $20.00 plus tax for each vehicle they bring. Prices subject to change.

Magical!

Can not recommend this condo enough! It exceeded our expectations by far for our short 3 night stay up North. Clean, comfortable, and stunning unobstructed views! Resort amenities were top notch. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and will try to do so when we come back in the future. Laurie and Steve were wonderful to work with! 10/10.

Great stay

This unit and the property it is on are great. The closest beach was a quick walk (on a steep hill but a golf cart can take you as well) and we got to swim with tons of turtles there. Hanalei Bay Resort has a fantastic pool and 2 delicious restaurants on-site with reasonable prices and live music nightly. The unit itself is basic but clean and has a great view/comes with everything you need for a good beach day. There is no kitchen in the unit but there are grills on the resort you can use. Highly recommend staying here!

Lovely little apartment with a great view!

This condo has the best views of Hanalei bay and is only a short (but steep!) walk to the beach. The condo had everything you need for an easy breezy Hawaiian vacation. NB - the kitchenette is small and includes a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. This is clear in the detailed description but the listing also mentions 'kitchen' which it's not. There were plenty of beach supplies (chairs, snorkel gear and umbrellas. Overall a great place to base yourself for a lovely Princeville, Hanalei vacation!

The room was very nice and the view was wonderful. The only negative for us is that while there were basic kitchen items, they were in a cupboard with nowhere to prepare anything except the bathroom counter.

Comfortable condo steps from the beach

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was so enjoyable! The beautiful beach is just a couple minute walk down the path. The ocean and mountain views are 10/10. The bed is sooo comfortable and plenty of great restaurants are just a quick drive away.

Don't go anywhere else!

My time there was fantastic - great view, comfortable bed and well equipped with amenities. The locker with Beach stuff was a big plus! Only suggestion would be to add a no slip mat in the shower.

This is Where I would Stay Again!

This place is remarkable! The listing does not communicate what a great place this is. It is a full-blown resort. The condo balcony is bigger than the photo shows. There is a microwave in addition to the small fridge and coffee pot listed. There are dishes to use, too. And, you are supplied with plenty of coffee!! The only thing I would add would be more hooks for hanging wet suits and towels, perhaps in the hallway leading to the lockout door to the rest of the condo. The wood floor was so beautiful and like all other places on the island, they don't want you drying stuff on the balcony. So, more hooks are needed. The property leads down to the beach on a completely paved path. And, if you don't want to walk it, you can request golf cart assistance. The pool is beautiful and so is the hot tub. There is one restaurant, but you can also use the ones at the resort at the end of the beach path. The lobby staff is so nice and friendly and so are the cart drivers. The walk from the parking lot is pretty far to this condo, but it was great exercise for us and you could request a cart if you wanted. If I ever go back to Kauai, this is hands-down where I am staying. And, if its not available, I'll change my dates or rent a different one there!!

Gorgeous views of Hanalei Bay from the balcony

This was our 3rd time to Kauai. We usually stay in Kapa’a but decided to look more towards Hanalei. The description matched the property to a T! The front staff at the resort was very friendly and accommodating. The amenities (pool, tennis courts, restaurants) were in good condition. Our 5yr old fit perfectly in the pullout bed and spent 2-3 hours per day in the pool. We can’t even describe the beauty of the sunset over Hanalei Bay from the “sunset hill” on the property. The studio was clean and coffee bar was stocked for those morning sunrise sips. We will definitely be returning to this property next year or 2.

This property is fantastic. It is an end unit with beautiful views of both the sunrises and sunsets from the lanai. The room shares a myriad of beach equipment with 2 other units on the floor, but there was never a shortage of stuff. We utilized the cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and snorkel gear but they also have tennis stuff, various floaties, and stuff to play with at the beach. The room has a/c and is perfect for a shorter term stay since it does not have a kitchen, but it has coffee, a fridge, and some kitchen supplies that come in handy. They even had the fridge stocked with a few welcome drinks for when we arrived. The resort itself is also very nice. There are 2 pools close by and a hot tub at the main pool. There are 8 tennis courts and this unit is close to a few of them. The unit is a short walk from the path that goes down to the beach. This beach is a smaller one but a great one to snorkel at and to enjoy a beach day. When we visited the hotel bar was open and has good drinks and food, but no drinks were allowed to go down to the pool. There was also a pizza place open on the property that had good pizza and sides. Overall, this is definitely a unit we would return to again. It is as advertised, and it is a beautiful location and only 15-20 minutes to downtown Hanalei which has numerous food options.

Aloha Welcome to Kauai and Hanalei Bay Resort

I was 18 years old when first traveled to Kauai. My sister and I
hiked the Na Pali Coastline trail. I fell in love with Kauai and
hoped that everyone I cared about could come here someday and
experience the love, the beauty and the magic of Kauai. Many
decades later, my husband Steve and I returned here after
raising our kids. That was December 2020. Covid Time. We
stayed in this very condo and both of us felt drawn to this island
in a way that words can’t describe. We have traveled all over the
world, 30 + countries and stayed in hundreds of different
accommodations in our travels. Of all the places we traveled in
the world, Kauai is hands down our favorite place.
Of all the Hawaiian Islands, this garden island is by far our
favorite. When we decided, we were going to buy here, we looked
all over the island and viewed many different condos. We kept
coming back to this lovely condo. This is our favorite part of the
island because of the mountains and stunning beaches. We felt
that we got the best condo in the complex with the best
unobstructed views in Hanalei Bay Resort. . Today, we are beyond
happy to share our little piece of paradise with you. Kauai might
just be the most romantic place on Earth. Everywhere you look is
beautiful! Stunning landscapes, pristine beaches, amazing waves,
beautiful flowers, and unforgettable sunsets. Kauai is steeped in
history and culture. Of course, there is no shortage of things to do
and see. We hope that you find the same magic, love and beauty
that touched our souls and lingers in the air no matter where you
are at in Kauai.
