## Logement
The Canebière Building, located in the 1st arrondissement, is a unique building designed in 1952 by the architect Fernand Pouillon, who reconstructed Marseille after the war. The building is classified as Remarkable Contemporary Architecture and opens every year for Heritage Days. Located on the 4th floor with elevator, the studio includes:
- a sleeping area with a sofa bed with slatted base and a high-quality mattress designed for comfortable daily sleeping;
- a shower room;
- and a fully equipped kitchen.
You will particularly appreciate its brightness, tranquility, and charm. For your comfort, you will have at your disposal: Wifi, Television, Washing machine, Drying rack, Iron, Hairdryer, Ceiling fan, Oven, Nespresso Coffee Machine, etc. Sheets and towels are included in the cleaning fee.
The neighborhood and tourist sites:
The accommodation is located on the Canebière, close to all transportation (metro, tram, and bus), the train station (1 metro stop or 8 minutes on foot), and the old port (5 minutes on foot). Its central location makes beaches and all tourist sites easily accessible (Old Port, Cours Julien, Rue Paradis, Mucem, Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde, Le Panier district, etc.). The accommodation is also close to many bars, restaurants (to suit all tastes!), and shopping streets. You will find a Monoprix supermarket for your daily purchases as well as many independent food stores. Finally, the cinema with Art and Essai programming "Les Variétés" is also located at the foot of the building.

## Emplacement
The 1st arrondissement is in the city's hypercenter, and is the beating heart of the Phocaean city. It is home to many historic buildings, including the Mission de France church, Saint-Théodore church, the Maison du Figaro and the Hôtel Pesciolini. The Jardin des Vestiges, discovered in the 20th century, is home to the remains of Marseille's ancient port, and a quiet, pleasant place to stroll.
The atmosphere is warm and lively! Here you'll find many of the restaurants typical of the Old Port, as well as shopping streets such as Rue de la République and Rue du Paradis. The district's extensive public transport network makes all parts of the city easily accessible.
