Saint Aubin de Médoc

Super séjour!!! Maison très bien agencée pour notre groupe (2 familles / 6 personnes). Extérieurs, piscines, jeux... Localisation entre Bordeaux et l'océan, quartier très calme, commerces accessibles facilement en voiture. Propriétaires et personne accueillante très disponibles et chaleureuses. Tout pour plaire aux personnes en quête de calme tout en gardant la proximité avec des zones plus animées. 👌👌👌

Awesome stay in St Aubin

Renting this property was an absolute pleasure. Communications with the owner before and during the stay were spot on. The house itself was very nice indeed with plenty of room for the 2 families (7 people) staying there. The large swimming pool was an absolute god send in the 38°c + weather of our first week.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. La maison est située dans un quartier calme et elle est proche de sites à visiter. Le livret d’accueil est bien renseigné. Les propriétaires sont prévenants : ils nous ont tenus informés de la situation vis-à-vis des incendies ainsi que d’une déviation du trajet de bus devant la maison. L’absence de vis-à-vis est très appréciable pour la piscine. Il y a toujours un coin d’ombre pour profiter de l’extérieur. La maison est spacieuse, bien décorée et particulièrement bien agencée pour séjourner à deux familles. Il y a deux chambres doubles avec salle de bains et WC de part et d’autre des pièces de vie. Un seul bémol, la literie de l’une des chambres nous semble un peu fatiguée.

A éviter absolument

Si vous voulez un résumé sans parcourir le reste : passez votre chemin concernant cette location saisonnière. - maison sale : dans les chambres de la poussière aux pieds des lits , dans les salles de bain les aérations étaient encrassées, j'ai même eu droit à une toile d'araignée.... - literie d'un autre temps en tous cas dans 2 chambres, mal de dos pendant tout le séjour ( la literie n'a que 15 ans dixit la propriétaire , a croire que c'est du quasi neuf pour elle....) Les draps et taies d'oreillers n'étaient pas très propres non plus avec des taches sur les draps notamment...) -salle de bain : dans l'une des 2 la douche n'était pas opérationnel durant tout le séjour, dans l'autre des carreaux du bac a douche se decollaient... Et cerise sur le gâteau en fin de séjour les canalisations étaient bouchées et les remontées arrivaient directement via le bac a douche.... ' c'est du aux racines d'arbres ' selon la propriétaire, bien évidemment les racines ont une croissance exceptionnelle en 2 semaines de séjour.... . Concernant les serviettes mises a disposition elles étaient extrêmement rèches. Location saisonnière sans ventilateur à disposition, on ne demandait pas la clim mais un ventilateur par chambre quand on loue sa maison l'été ce n'est pas du luxe. Le coin piscine est le seul vrai point positif de cette villa , la piscine est assez grande et bien équipée limite c'est la seule chose pour laquelle vous payez en fait. Concernant l'équipement de la cuisine il y a ce qu'il faut et c'est opérationnel. Après avoir précisé tous ces points à la propriétaire elle a feint l'étonnement et n'a proposé aucun dédommagement même pas les frais de service (consultable sur la fiche de la maison) qui couvrent soit disant le ménage... Si j'avais du temps à perdre j'aurai ouvert un dossier auprès d'abritel, je préfère oublier cette location pas du tout à la hauteur. J'allais oublier, on doit s'estimer heureux de ne pas avoir payé plus car j'ai effectué la réservation avant le covid, et mon chèque de caution m'a été renvoyé quasiment 3 semaines après mon départ, du foutage de gueule jusqu'à la dernière note. Une location à éviter.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille (4 pers). La maison est idéalement située dans un environ très calme, à 5 min des commerces et parfait pour visiter la région. La personne qui nous a accueillis était très sympathique. Quant à Prune, c’est un amour de chat ! Un grand merci aux propriétaires pour les petites attentions laissées pour notre arrivée, nous nous sommes régalés. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Très agréable séjour

Maison très agréable pour deux familles, espaces extérieurs et piscine très appréciable. Les propriétaires ont été très disponibles, en particulier pour changer le lave-linge tombé en panne pendant notre séjour.

A tranquil villa in a fantastic location

The house has all the facilities you need to have a fantastic break with family or friends. The pool was fantastic, there were different areas to move around (shaded or not) and with lots of seating inside and out you don’t get bored of your surroundings. Having Prune the cat around was great as she’s a real character and appreciates attention. The kitchen has all you need to cook fantastic food and there’s a leclerc 15 mins away that’s the biggest supermarket I’ve ever seen. There’s a great bistro up the road at Saint Aubin village and you are only 25 mins from Lacanau, Carcans or another 15 and you are down Cap Feret eating Oysters on the Bay (Cabane 24 was particularly stunning) 15 mins to the park and tram gets you into the centre of Bordeaux which is beautiful. Philippe the host is very helpful and was great at responding to anything we needed etc. All in all a fantastic place in a great location ....
