About this property

The Little House; near Nickel Plate Beach

Updated summer cottage
The block walk to the beach makes us a beautiful location! We are very close to the beach but not waterfront property.
The Big sandy Beach @ Nickel Plate Public Park is 1/10th a mile away.
Spend the day relaxing on the sand and playing in the lake, or a day or two at Cedar Point or it's water park.
The Little House sits behind my main home which is now available for rental as well (listing 7556378) rent both properties for large gatherings! perfect for family fun!
The lake Erie Islands are a fantastic ferry trip across the lake.
The near by historic towns are full of adventures.
The house is a small two bedroom cottage with full kitchen and laundry. I provide all the things you will need. Beach chairs, towels, linens.

Great location and quiet stay for family

This rental is located walking distance to a really nice beach and restaurant. Huron is a nice quiet lake town that is a short drive from Cedar Point.

Great location, with short walk to nice beach

My family and I stayed here for the Sandusky Ironman 70.3 event. The drive to the race location was only around 20 minutes and the property was on a great beach for the kids.

Cute cabin retreat near touristy and beach areas

As described! We enjoyed the board games and amenities included. Beach was very close, as was local eats and entertainment. Host was very friendly. Parking was easy.

Lovely home

Just a lil one night stay.

Everything was as described. A short walk to beach and the Sandbar. Felt private was in town for a party so just pretty much slept there. Tv only in living room just an FYI if you sleep with noise like me.

The Little House

The Little House was very adequate for our one night stay. Cindy was very hospitable and pleasant. The house was clean. As four single older adults, the bed situation was not ideal. The bottom bunk in the rack room is really not suitable for an adult.

Cute little house short walk to beach

This was a cute litte guest house with a short walk to Nickel Plate Beach. Small but has everything you need for your vacation. Cindy was nice and quick to respond to any questions. Love the hooks in the bathroom for towels (it's the little things) and the covered front porch to relax on. There are no closets to hang clothes, which I'm pretty sure we read before (this was not an issue for us, but might be to some). This house was prefect for our weekend.

Close to things, but a world away

My family just got back from 5 days of relaxation and this house was great! Cindy (the owner) was helpful, but not intrusive, and the house was cute and cozy. Everything was very clean and comfy and her cute beach decor was nice, too. The house's location was super- 5 minute walk to the beach, 15 minute drive to Cedar Point, 50 min. drive to Cleveland. The two bedrooms worked well for our family of 4 (2 boys ages 13 & 16) and gave us a chance to spread out more than any hotel room could. We grilled out and enjoyed the fire pit and eating at the outside table. We would definitely recommend this house!

Fabulous

We celebrated our recent adoption and brought our new family to visit with extended family in Ohio. My husband and I brought 5 kids all 7 and under. The bunk beds were perfect and Cindy (property owner) even provided a pack-n-play for our youngest. Property was clean and well taken care of. Cindy was available when we had a need but also gave us space to enjoy our new family bonding. When we located the start of a bee nest outside of the front door, she took care of it immediately. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies that were all clean and in working order. Short walk to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again.

Location, Location, location

We had a great experience staying at this house. It was very nice to be able to go to the beach with just a wagon in tow. No need to drive at all. The beach was great and the neighborhood was nice. The house fit our needs very well and it was nice using some of the beach stuff that Cindy provided. Cindy was very accommodating. House was clean and comfortable. Exactly as described in the post. Couple things to check out if you stay. The Bikini Bottom boat rental was a great place to rent a jet ski or boat. The donut shop was great as well. Very nice town and it was an easy 20 min drive to Cedar Point. FYI. Get to Cedar Point an hour early and stay away from Fri-sun. We went on a Monday and it was great.
