Waterfront 2 Bedroom - 2 Blocks from the Beach - Premium Location

This rental is a ground level canal front unit in a duplex located just 2 blocks from the beach in the lovely highly desired Caine Woods Community. It is ground level. There is a separate unit above (not part of this rental) Excellent location directly across the street from Gorman Park, and short walk to beach, Old Pro Golf, Arcade, and Harpoon Hannas. Fish and crab from the large bulkhead or take a short walk to the beach. Paddle board or kayak in Assawoman Bay. This unit offers a large owners suite with king sized bed and on suite hotel style bathroom, and extra large bedrooms. Second bedroom has custom double bunk beds with reclaimed wood stairs. Bunk beds have three twin XL beds and one full XL bed. There is also a pull out sofa on the living room. Both bedrooms and living room have smart TV's. Unit features outdoor shower and outdoor living room area. Large kitchen with quartz counters, and new appliances. Neighborhood feels more like a residential neighborhood. You will love the location. Must be 25 years old or older to book.

Unit was nice with nice furnishings, but flooring was buckling and broken in some places. Host said they are trying to get someone to replace flooring. However, the floors were also somewhat dirty, and tub in master bedroom drained slowly. OVERALL THOUGH ENJOYED THE STAY

Fun in the sun

I would like to thank Chris for the use of his beautiful property. The condo is perfectly located directly on the Canal and has beautiful views it’s also is just a short walk to the Beach. We also love The covers parking. Hope to come back soon.

Annual OCMD trip

We going to OCMD every year but this was the first year we brought our dog. It seriously was our best trip yet. We loved our week away. The condo was so clean and convenient. We walked to the beach and park everyday. Had coffee in the back deck every morning. The hammocks were the best. Such a dog friendly area. We can’t wait to go back again!

OC Gallway Girl

Awesome. Loved the house and location. Bunk bed room would be perfect for a little ones and tweens. House was fully functional. We cooked In sometimes went out and ate others. Love, the fact that we could bring Small dog. The house was very cutely appointed. The manager was attentive when we needed him, which wasn’t much. All in all I would do it again. We had a great time in Ocean City and the house was perfect to do just that. I may even consider doing it again and taking additional units with more people. If I had to offer a suggestion, I would ask the owner to invest in some better pots and pans and a new coffee maker, but it was not a big deal at all. I can recommend this property highly.

Amazing summer vacation

I selected this property for many reasons for our family vacation. I liked the location, the bunk room for the kids and especially the fact that I could bring my dogs. This property exceeded our expectations. The beach is just a very short walk from the house but there was typically ample parking by the beach if necessary. There is a lovely park across the street with a playground, tennis courts and pickleball courts which my family and dogs loved. The area surrounding the property on the canal is quiet which was perfect for us when enjoying our morning coffee or evenings. The kids LOVED the bunk room. The owner, Chris, was so prompt when responding to my many questions prior to our trip. There really isn’t a downside to this property! We hope to return again!

Very Nice Place

I like the location the fact we were on the water and our dogs were welcome very convenient.The floors could use a good mopping,the mini blind in the master bedroom had a lot of dust on it. Other than that it was very clean.I loved not having to bring sheets and towels and That I didn’t have to make the beds when we got there . The beds in the second bedroom were a little on the hard side. But all in all we had a nice vacation. Thank You.

Very cute little condo. Great location out of the craziness of downtown OC. Only thing I noticed was the ants like folks shared in other reviews, but they weren’t too bad.

Wonderful Place

We had a great stay. Easy walk to the beach. Sitting on the back dock was very relaxing. Bethany Beach, DE and the Boardwalk are quick drives away.

Oc vacation

Overall good location not far from beach access. Relaxing back porch/dock area. The tie ups for dogs in the back were a thoughtful addition. The place was very well equipped and clean aside from coffee grinds left in both coffee makers. There is a park directly across the street and is a short trip to the food Lion as well. Would book again.

Great Getaway Location

We enjoyed our stay! It was a smooth process to checkin, the place was clean and ready for us. The street we were on was also very quiet. Great location! Our kids loved the bunkbed room. Overall a perfect spot for a weekend away from home. We would stay here again.

Bayside Trial

After 30+ years of renting oceanfront condos, we decided to try a bayside home on a canal, this year, and we were very pleased. Walk to the beach was quite easy. House was spacious and well appointed. Neighborhood was very quiet. Look forward to returning next year.

2023 Vacation

The kitchen and hall bathroom had alot of ants. Bought natural ant spray and still had ants. There were ant baits in The kitchen when we got there. While eating at the counter table ants were getting in my plate of food. There was a strong smell of cat urine in the kitchen and living room. Finally located the spot it was coming from by the front door corner wall by frig. Tried to spray and clean with lysol but could not get rid of the odor. I bought candles to burn that helped short term. We did not like the open bathroom in master bedroom. No privacy! It was also very dusty. I had to clean the master bedroom fan and lamp shades and under the bed and bottom of night tables so I could sleep . First day woke up with allergy sneezing and congested. We brought all our bed linens , pillows, towels, and blankets . Dust hanging off fan in living room also. Outside of kitchen cabinets were very dirty and hall bath not real clean. Baseboards and behind furniture cob webs and balls of dust. I cleaned the floors and the master bedroom and bathrooms. Under the microwave was very dirty. I moved it to try to get rid of ants crawling around it. It could be a very nice place and the location is great. We enjoyed the deck outside on the water. If those concerns are addressed it would be a nice place to stay. The master bed was very comfortable! My dog enjoyed her stay. The neighborhood is great for walking and riding bikes! Overall good with minor issues

There were ants all over the kitchen counters with ant traps behind the toaster oven.we had to kill ants with paper towels all week. There’s no way to sit outside when it’s raining or even drizzling as water pours through the upstairs decking. It should be noted that the outside area can not be used on rainy days. Every other place we’ve ever rented has covered outside areas to sit out even when it rains. That was disappointing.

First stay on the bay for the family…

The home is beautiful and in a great neighborhood. Check in was late, but resolved. Highly recommend having a bike to ride down to the sunset on the bay. Not used to walking to the beach which was different for us ( we are used to beach front properties)but not a horrible walk. The dock out back is great - only caught 1 crab, but I should have used some different bait. Kids bedroom is awesome! What a great layout! Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend to others.

Time away

Relaxing environment with easy access to home, close to shopping, great restaurants, and piers for fishing. Owner communicated in timely fashion and helpful. Will hopefully return again in the future. Great neighborhood to walk and our dog enjoyed her jaunts around the block.
