This place was an awesome place to get away from it all and spend some quality time with the family! It was peaceful and relaxing and had everything we needed! Peaceful with some fun in the sun!
Me and some friends stayed the weekend and had a great time on the property. The owner of the property was easy to talk to and the property was in a great location for a group event. Everyone was really impressed with the spot
This place was absolutely perfect! Setback in a deep cove, w/o any close neighbors. Had everything we could've possibly wanted, including games, hot tub, fire pit, porches, outdoor lighting, boat dock...EVERYTHING you need for a great weekend getaway at the lake! Owner was VERY responsive to texts, and made sure our stay was WONDERFUL!
Another family lake trip in the books! This is our second time staying here and it once again it didn’t disappoint! Everything was as it was described again this year. We celebrated our granddaughters 1st birthday while there this year and it was phenomenal! She had a blast as well as family the same! We love the seclusion but still having water access. This year we had two boats and two jet skis docked at the bottom of the hill and it was great. If y’all will have us back we will sure be scheduling our next trip! If anybody is thinking about booking this place then do it without hesitation! Thanks so much!
This cabin and property was more than we expected. We typically stay on busier parts of the lake so we didn’t really know what to expect booking a property that was at the end of a small cove. We were happily surprised though. It is a secluded property that is very well maintained. The cabin was very nice, clean and equipped with everything we needed. Nice, big and well lit porches on front and back of cabin. To top the back porch off the hot tub was excellent for relaxing in after spending the day on the lake. The owner warned us ahead of time that the lake was low and that we might not be able to get our boats up to the property. Well even with the lake being low we were still able to get a couple pretty good sized boats all the way in to the dock on the property. The path from the dock all the way up to the cabin was also lit at night which made it nice walking down to the boats for the morning trip and then walking back up when returning in the evening. Owners we’re spot on and communicated very well with us. So I guess all in all the only complaint we had at all was that we couldn’t stay longer due to having to return to reality and work. Rest assure that if they will have us back, we will be booking this property again!!

About the host

We are excited to offer you our lake house for your getaway. We have had this place for about 15 years and with the help of friends and family transformed this space into our vision. We are situated on 3 acres surrounded by national forest. Its a secluded place, at the end of Caddell cove on Sam Rayburn. We have a floating dock to park your boats, with Whippoorwill boat ramp about 2 miles from us.
Why they chose this property
We are located about 10 miles from Broaddus, Texas.
What makes this property unique
Lots of Texas touches - stars with the red white and blue. We have beautiful outdoor spaces to take in the sights and sounds of nature. Enjoy a glass of wine and watch the night sky in the hot tub. A firepit and wood are available for the cool evenings. We also have a gas grill or charcoal grill for your use. Fish off the dock or park your boat for a short trip down the cove to the main lake.
