This is our third time staying here when we come to Missoula. It is always so clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The host goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and adds personal touches like fresh flowers. We love staying here and look forward to coming back when visiting Missoula.
This property is immaculate. I almost didn’t want to review so it can stay a secret treasure! If you are going to be in the Missoula area, I highly recommend this place for its beauty, relaxation, and central location for adventure or city fun.
We had 2 adults, 1 teen, and 2 furry kids stay here and it was just perfect.
As soon as we pulled up the driveway and saw the many different birds, our Son gave it an instant 10 out of 10! This was a perfect place for a little get away, private yard and deck made relaxing easy. They had everything you could need and the little extra touches made it feel homey. Location was nice, a few minute drive to downtown Missoula. Definitely a place worth staying at!
My mom and I, and our two golden retrievers, spent a perfect couple days at this bungalow. The space was so clean and lovely, with fresh flowers throughout the home and around the beautiful deck. We really enjoyed seeing the peacocks wander around the larger yard, and the dogs enjoyed playing in the fenced backyard and watching the birds. Everything was so comfortable and cozy with great amenities. This was one of the best VRBO experiences I've ever had, and I would certainly book again. Thank you for your hospitality!
This is a great property. I loved the birds. Enjoyed especially the peacocks strutting around enticing the girls. My dogs didn't mind them at all. Emil is a great host. So kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend this property for short or longer stays.
We were so comfortable her it was wonderful, even our 9 year old dog felt at home. They also provided us with fresh eggs from there chickens, how considerate is that.
I don't have enough words to describe our stay. From the time we drove up, saw the house and the pond, I was hooked. Then we saw the peacocks, chickens and ducks. All I could say was 'Wow' and 'oh my gosh' for 30 minutes. I am a bird lover and we couldn't have picked a better house.
The house is beautiful and impeccably finished. The patio is a wonderful, peaceful place to have coffee or dinner and enjoy the view. It is also THE place to watch the parade of ducks each morning and evening as they go to feed.
We were traveling with two dogs and the yard was perfect for them. The hot tub was a plus and we enjoyed it most evenings. The fresh eggs and omelet fixings were a pleasant surprise.
The owners have provided you with everything you might need for your stay.
We felt right at home. We could have stayed for another week (or maybe forever)!
Let us all learn from the peacocks, chickens and ducks.
Thank you for the most memorable stay.
We loved this property! We wanted a space that was quiet, renewing and beautiful at a reasonable price-- we checked all 4 boxes!!
The owner is friendly and hospitable (loved the farm fresh eggs), the property is beautiful (including the fountain pond and peacocks!) and the house is immaculate with comfortable furniture, a spacious kitchen with high-end appliances and a lovely hot tub. We could not have asked for a better experience.
Our family had a wonderful stay in Emery's house and we would come back in a heartbeat. It is evident how much care and thought have gone into this oasis. The kitchen is well-appointed with anything that might be needed to cook. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bathroom is newly remodeled and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. It is also a bird-watcher's paradise and looking out the windows is a treat. This was our home away from home!
Beautifully designed home in peaceful area with lots of birds. Owners are super nice. Location of home is great if you want a place close to Missoula but also within driving distance day trips to Flathead & even Glacier Park. Flowers landscaping and birds are awesome!
We loved everything about this place: the flowers, the hummingbirds, the pond, the chickens and peacocks and ducks roaming around freely - we even found tasty eggs in the fridge waiting for us upon our arrival.
There are many places to sit outside so you’re always able to catch the sun - or the shade.
In the back a big hot tub was one of the special places we used every night and every morning to have our coffee.
Inside there are so many beautiful and tasteful things, every day we discovered something new. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to cook good meals. We loved the kitchen island and my boyfriend is thinking of getting one similar to this after remodeling his kitchen.
Thank you for having us and sharing this wonderful place with us. I have rented many vacation homes but this is one of my top 5. Whenever I’ll come back to Missoula I’ll try to stay there again.
This is a beautiful place to stay. It is very comfortable and includes literally anything you could possibly need. There are so many great things to do and see in Missoula, but be sure to set aside time to relax right here. Skip a restaurant and grill up a lovely dinner on the deck. The setup is perfect for pups while not disturbing the incredible array of birds. The hummingbirds are especially beautiful. Can’t wait to come back.
We had the perfect honeymoon at this property! We actually couldn’t find it at first, google sent us about a half hour away, but we called and the owner gave us detailed directions and was super responsive and nice! The property had peacocks, chickens, and other cool birds around at all times which made for perfect breakfast on the deck to see the scenery and watch the birds! The furniture was all super comfy and the hot tub was really cool! Kitchen was totally stocked. My Husband and I came for our honeymoon and it was also a perfect distance away from town which made it perfect for a day out or late night take-out and movies. TVs had tons of options for streaming service. The stay was totally amazing and we would highly recommend!
We stayed at this wonderful Vrbo for the weekend of the Missoula Marathon. It had everything we needed and more. The host was so welcoming and kind. The location was close enough to Missoula to be very convenient, but out of town enough to be peaceful and relaxing. We look forward to hopefully staying here again!
We loved the property. The owner was extremely nice. The house was very well stocked and immaculate. Just an overall lovely experience. We will stay here again if possible.
Beautiful house, property, and atmosphere. Perfect place to get away from everything and unwind. The hot tub was a huge bonus. Everything you could want or need was there. We will definitely be back!
This was a fantastic (literally) place to relax comfortably and get away from work and everyday life. The hosts seemed to have thought of and provided everything one needs in a home away from home. The furnishings were tasteful, the artwork inspired, and every window spotless to look out upon the peaceful surroundings and fountained pond. And the birds - Oh, my! This place is also host to so many wild and domesticated birds, ranging from the unassuming humming birds, to a variety of ranging hens and roosters, to the proud and boisterous peacocks. Wonderful experience!
