Newly-renovated, spacious, traditional shingle house, 3 miles from beach and south of 27, abutting farm reserves. The spacious, quiet third floor office and gym looks out over the reserves. About the host
Hosted by Alexander Stein

My parents built this house in 1976, and we have been spending part of every summer here since.
Why they chose this property
The house is called Beech House because of the two beautiful, mature beech trees in the backyard: one European and one copper, creating a lovely, cool shade that rustles in the slightest breeze. I love to sit in a lounge chair, with a cold drink and a book, and listen to the birds sing.
What makes this property unique
When my parents bought the land for this house, from the same farmer who farms the land abutting it, the countryside was potato farms as far as the eye could see. Though "The Hamptons" are very different now, the house is still a peaceful, relaxing haven.
