Stayed for 3 nights with my two daughters. It was conveniently located not far from the center of Covington where we wanted to spend some time exploring where Vampire Diaries was taped. Also close to Conyers. There is a Publix, CVS and Walgreens close by. Quite neighborhood. Very safe. Property owner is very responsive. We had an issue when I got there with the remote which he responded with the solution right away. Overall, this is a nice house and very well priced. It just needs some pest control and maybe a couple more amenities that were missing.

Lower Your Expectations
This property fell far short of our expectations formed by staying in other similarly priced VRBO homes we’ve quite enjoyed. It is missing attention to many important details to be an average VRBO rental. Cleanliness of home needs most improvement. Also highly recommend removing/replacing carpet and improved pest control.
Upon arrival we noticed the property next door was a dump which made us very uncomfortable. Next we noticed that the actual rental property had a hole in the window the size of a baseball that had been taped up. Entering the front door of the property I walked through a spiderweb and other while exploring the house. After exploring the entire property we noticed spatters of what looked like blood on the walls and ceiling, a bloody fingerprint on the upstairs bathroom door, dust hanging from the ceiling in the masterbedroom, a huge hole in the ceiling of the closet in the master bedroom, carpet was filthy, roaches crawling on walls and floors throughout the entire house. We reached out to the owner and he was only willing to reimburse us $275 of an over $800 stay and said he was sorry for the southern bugs( I have grown up down south my entire life and roaches arent southern bugs they are because you are disgusting) as well he had to keep the cleaning fee because he would have to get the house cleaned again. Well I can tell you it was not inspected nor cleaned before our stay. The outside lights were all hung upside down. My group and I ended up leaving the next morning after spending hrs on the phone with vrbo trying to get it resolved. We sent numerous videos and pictures. This place is not only unsafe but unhealthy to be at.
We were easily able to settle in and the location was great for the wedding we attended

House is Nice but needs to be Cleaned
With all the fees attached the price doubled. I would like a reimbursement because the place was filthy. Ants everywhere, big hole in the master closet, looked as though there were bullet holes in the master tub, shower curtain had water stains, when I say water stains I mean it was a clear curtain but the bottom of it was brown, bedding had spots and hair. The living room window was busted and taped, no tv’s in any of the bedrooms and carpets were also filthy. I have pictures.
I had no choice but to stay since it was already paid for. I waited before posting here but I have not heard from the homeowner. I have used VRBO on several occasions and this is my worst experience with a house.

A little disappointed
We were disappointed with the stay. The temperature in the house was hot for us. That was when we discovered the thermostat is locked. With the thermostat being locked we were required to contact the property manager which ended up in a long argumentative and condescending exchange about what a comfortable temperature should be for us. I found this VERY inconvenient. Other issues included dead insects in the sink, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, leaky bath tub we couldn't use, one of the closets in the primary bedroom had a giant hole in ceiling, hand soap dispensers were not filled in the bathrooms, front window was broken. I would never choose to stay somewhere that I can not control the temperature for my comfort.
Upsides: clean, pretty new mattresses, ceiling fans in about every room, updated nicely, stocked well.
Downside: a/c control was locked so could not control temp., but was at a normal setting, plastic coverings on mattresses directly under sheets.
My family and I stayed on the property for 5 nights. The host is very responsive. The beds were comfortable. I would recommend more towels & washcloths and eventually, access to a washer and dryer. I would even pay a little more per day for access to a washer and dryer.
We saw a few little bugs while we were there. Nothing that would prevent us from staying again.
My friends and I had a great stay! We each were able to have our own room. The kitchen had all the basics we needed. Everything on our to do list was close by, Covington, Conyers, Stone Mountain and a Publix!!!!
Overall property was good, bet our needs. description followed website. only real issue we had was with heat. one day outside temp dropped and we were not able to adjust thermostat. during that night while sleeping heat came on. don't know how or why.
