About this property

The cabin is minutes away from stream fishing, the Carson National Forest with more than 10 hiking trails close by. Flora and fauna surround you as you relax on the large back or front deck. Best of all our cabin is a short 15 minute drive to the Sipapu Ski Area and only a 35 minute drive to Taos.

The dining room table seats six and offers a beautiful view of the mountains. Relax in the cozy living room by a warm fire or cook your favorite meal in our fully equipped kitchen.

The main bedroom is spacious and has a queen size Tempurpedic bed. The other bedroom has a twin day bed with an additional twin trundle beneath it.

This property welcomes 🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQIA travelers.

The LazyBoy couch also has a queen hideaway bed.

Angela and Mark purchased the cabin after falling in love with the location. We named it the Hummingbird Mountain Cabin because of the abundant hummingbirds flying around and because they have a guest cottage located on a 140 acre ranch in Black Forest CO. Our guest cottage was named “Hummingbird Cottage on Black Forest Ranch” because Marks late mother (Emily Lucas-Bissell loved hummingbirds.

Our Hummingbird Mountain Cabin is nestled among beautiful pine trees and aspens off the front porch and spacious valley and mountain views off the large back deck.
