About this property

Charming Blue Farmhouse Cabin

Welcome to our cozy and quaint Blue Farmhouse Cabin!
Our NONSMOKING cabin is located on a large half acre site and comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests, with 1 king size bed (brand new high-end DreamCloud mattress- RARE in cabins) and 1 queen size bed (Sealy) on the 2nd floor.

Fully equipped & remodeled kitchen includes fridge, microwave, oven, water boiler, toaster, coffee machine, George Foreman grill and blender. We also have an array of spices that are provided.

The living room is set up with a comfortable couch and loveseat, complemented by hand chosen rustic and cozy decor. The pellet stove provides a warm and cozy atmosphere during chill nights.

Upstairs you will find a bedroom with 1 king bed and another bedroom with a queen bed. The king bedroom has an electric fireplace and the queen bedroom has adorable fairy lights.

Please note there is currently no outdoor fire pit due to extreme drought. Per fire department & sheriffs order there are absolutely NO outside fires allowed.
Outside you will find a beautiful large patio where you can enjoy some meals, relax or stargaze at night!
There is a charcoal grill onsite for your BBQ pleasure. (Please bring your own charcoal)
Outside Furniture will be available once last snow melts. (Usually May/June- October)

Large driveway with access for trucks with trailers/ ATV's and/ or side by sides.

*** Winter Advisory***

November 1st - April 30th:

4-wheel drive is required! Snow chains are highly recommended!
Outside seating areas and grill will be available before the 1st snowfall of the season (usually October) and after the snow has fully melted off the patio (usually sometime around May).

Please note this is a remote, standalone cabin in the woods, in the mountains at 8500 ft elevation with limited infrastructure. While we strive to provide our guests with a wonderful 5* Airbnb experience, we are not a 5* resort with 24/7 assistance and service.

The roads in the village are not paved and the last ~7 min of your drive is on a gravel road.

In the wintertime snowstorms can occur.
Before traveling please ensure you check the weather forecast and AVOID TRAVELING DURING WINTER STORMS at all cost.
You can download the Udot app which transmits live road conditions.
The county (government) is responsible for plowing the roads if there is more than 8” of fresh snow and they plow during the daytime only.
We have private plows for our driveway, we ask our guests to understand that the driveway plow arrival times are flexible.
Occasional power outages may occur on the mountain (especially during snow fall) and usually get taken care of by the electricity company within a few hours.
Snow removal on the deck, to and around your car can be booked with advance notice for an additional fee.

Outside Furniture will be available once last snow melts.

Charming, clean, quaint house

This house was very clean and quaint. It had everything you need for a stay. It was private and off the beaten path. Our host, Paulina, was the best. We can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended

Perfect little get away

The pictures are exactly what you get! The place is very clean and the king bed was very comfortable! Not sure how the second rooms bed was since we only needed one room, but I’m sure it was great too.

Cozy, Clean, Comfortable!

The perfect place for a little family vacation or a romantic getaway! My husband and toddler son and I stayed for a quick two days while we were passing through on a trip to see family so we could see Bryce Canyon (about an hour trip away). Our stay was wonderful! We love cute quaint Duck Creek and this cabin was the cherry on top. The cabin has everything we needed and was very clean and felt like home!

Great Stay

We loved this little cabin! It was amazing. We had to leave a little early, which was sad, because we so enjoyed this place. Communication was great. The property is exactly as it is described (do read the full description). It was comfortable and cozy! We highly recommend this property!

2 Night Getaway from Vegas

It was nice, clean, cozy and quiet. Well stocked. Nice homey cabin decor. We didn't dine out while in Duck Creek, we packed in groceries and cooked. This is NOT a knock, 5 stars across. But for potential guests with limited mobility, br's are up and bathroom is down. Steep cabin stairs for middle of the night urgencies.

Cozy coabin!

The location of the property is great but you prob need a car with 4 wheel drive. The stairs are steep. The check in and out process was easy! The owner is very nice and had great communication. Upgrades in the cabin look to be recent! We enjoyed our stay.

Nice family vacation

Paulina is an excellent host! She was very communicative and helpful, even providing an alternative route to the cabin if your vehicle doesn’t have all wheel drive. There was plenty of room for two adults, a preschooler, and a baby! Our oldest loved exploring the property, learning how a well works, and swinging on the bench!

Cute cabin

Hard to locate. TG a True value was open on Easter Sunday for directions. No shoes allowed was Understandable because of the cowhide rug but it wasnt tanned properly and was a danger always rolling up. It was quaint, big kitchen, if you're into cooking. Steep staircase to 2br upstairs.

Perfect getaway

Our family of four came out for a long weekend from Vegas. Paulina was super helpful with the safest way to get to the cabin, as there was a ton of fresh snow and the roads in the community were a little slick. The home was quaint, but enough room for our family of four. The front yard was big enough to keep the kids entertained in the snow for hours. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. there were heaters in all of the rooms and an awesome pellet stove in the family room that kept us warm and helped us dry our snow-soaked clothes. We were almost snowed in and Paulina was really flexible on letting us leave whenever it would be safe enough. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway!

Nice location - many problems

/The stairs going upstairs were way to steep and noisy for us. Not flushing the toilet paper was a first time ever - very annoying to all of us. Loved the location, but would not return to this cabin for the above reasons
