The location is wonderful with views across the canal to mangroves, saw manatees and dolphins and even a stray iguana once. The covered dock and boat lift are a nice relief from the sun and heat when you return from fishing.
The house was clean well maintained and quite comfortable
Hope to return again
We had a great stay for a fishing week here.
LOCATION: The location was perfect. On a corner canal lot with great views. Quiet neighborhood and 5 minutes to open water by boat. Two minute drive to Phuzzy's and the Low Key Tiki restaurants.
DOCK: Large dock with fully functional boat lift and double-wide canopy, although quicker to simply lower the lift and moor the boat at the dock. It's on a short closed canal, so your boat will not get knocked around. Plenty of water footage so easy to cast all around the property.
DECK: There is a screened deck that fully extends along two sides of the house. Nice little tiki bar along the waterfront.
KITCHEN: The kitchen was large with new appliances. The refrigerator is newer and the icemaker actually worked really well. Plenty of good stainless pans, keurig coffee maker, blender, crock pot and plenty of utensils. Plenty of room to seat 6-8 if needed at the table.
BATHROOMS: 2 roomy baths with showers - no tubs. Provided a small starter pack of liquid soap, body wash, conditioner and body lotion. Several rolls of toilet paper included for each bath. Plenty of towels.
BEDROOMS: 2 larger bedrooms with very comfortable beds (actually made note of the mattress brand for our next purchase). TV's in both rooms, although not hooked up to the cable as in the living room. The master had a retractable bunk bed which really didn't take up much room.
CONCLUSION: We will definitely come back and highly recommend.
Property was even more beautiful in person, huge wrap around porch with great views even with an outdoor tv, the Keurig coffee machine and electric fire pit in the backyard were a fantastic added surprise. Plenty of space right from the backyard to fish.
The boat lift was the only downside as it is listed as fully functional but it is very sketchy just needs to be addressed before an accident happens in the future the cables on the boat lift during my stay were frayed and didn’t work the first day of use the management was alittle busy to get in touch with but after getting in touch Kelly was awesome but just felt that there should have been a fix made on it during the stay. the left front side had the most issues with going up it was over lapping and causing the lift to stop when going up empty over the weekend I had to fix it multiple times which consumed some of my time there, the boat ramp is around the corner but it’s $15 each use and the oysters are really built up on the pilings so my flats boat would have been damaged with no fenders would not recommend a boat bigger then a flats boat on that lift other then that very beautiful location and house
We had a great time staying at the house. My email giving me the check in information did not work. There is not a good number to reach out to a local person if you have a issue. I talked to a middle eastern guy and never did hear back from him, either good, bad,or indifferent. You have to wait to receive a email reply. I tried all numbers attached that I could find, searches, ect. The house is great and the owner gives you full access. They did get the boat lift repaired, and I am grateful. Made it so much easier for accessing boat and tidal water security, up and down levels. I loved everything about the place. We travel to Florida several times a year with my boat as well. I would recommend this home every time if you stay on Pine Island, communication channels need improving and a actual local representative to reach via phone would be the ticket. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your Coco Green House. :)
The house itself and location on water is perfect. They had little hurricane damage but compared to others I would say if it was mine that I had no damage. The landscaping is definitely needing some attention. My wife wanted to lay in the yard and sun but with 2’ tall weeds she decided not to. The other bad thing is the boat lift did not work. We tied our jet skis to the side dock and even with bumpers we have some new scratches from the dock and oyster shells. If I had my boat there I probably wouldn’t have left it on the water. Definitely either needs to get that working or don’t advertise having a boat lift
While we were not there to boat, this would be the perfect spot. Great docks, nice lift, great location! We were there to visit family who are rebuilding from Hurricane Ian. This entire area was hit hard by Ian, but they are resilient, rebuilding and open for business. The house was clean, very comfortable and well stocked. Comfy beds, nice showers and a great kitchen, we were able to prep several meals and enjoy them together at the large table. It’s so close to my parent’s home, if we need to stay again before their home is rebuilt we will stay there. Check-in was a breeze. Thank you!
We had a wonderful time visiting my parents who live just down the street on York. Unfortunately, my parent had to bulldoze their home due to the damage of hurricane Ian. They are currently living in a RV on their property and could not accommodate us. But we were within walking distance of my parents place from coconut. The home was quite cozy and every morning got to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch overlooking the water. Took a run each morning down each canal. Cannot say enough of the cleanliness, cute style! We were told the home did suffer some damage from the hurricane, but it still was a beautiful gem. Definitely recommend to all
Clean, nicely decorated, kitchen had all the necesities. The deck was wide and had plenty of seating as did the yard. Parking was spacious and the shed was a bonus. There was a problem with the boat lift not working which made it hard loading on low tide.

The house was amazing, very clean and updated. The area is recuperating from the hurricane and needs lots of work but, the people were very friendly.
We had a really great stay at this property. The location was perfect for a relaxing fishing weekend away. The house and property were perfect for what we were looking for. Amazing communication with the property management team.
We had a great time. Saw dolphins and manatees in the canal. Caught snapper and catfish off the back. The property was excellent. Location not as close to a beach as we would have liked. Needed better follow up by the manager for minor problems.
I was really pleased with everything about the property until I went to bed on the first night, only to find that the linens hadn’t been changed or cleaned. Blood and
Wadded up pieces of paper towel and tissue in the sheets. I took pictures. Very disappointed to have to strip the beds and wash the linens myself before being comfortable to lay in the beds.
