About this property

Go Blue! Bright home with large fenced in yard! 3m to Penn State. Free Breakfast

ALL LINENS PROVIDED! We also provide a small amount of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and dish/hand soap to make short stays easier!
This sweet home has two bedrooms and one full bath. It is located 3 miles from Beaver Stadium (5 minutes with no traffic!) and less than 2 miles (2 minutes!) from Tussey Mountain.
The home is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and a cozy night's sleep! We are local and happy to help you find anything you might need while here.
You'll find coffee and add-ins plus to-go cups in the kitchen upon arrival. We've also left you a waffle station with toppings. Please help yourself!
There are NO STAIRS inside the home, so access is easy for all. (There is one step to go in through the front door.)
You'll love sitting on the covered back porch that is surrounded by a fenced in yard! Lots of outdoor games will keep kids (and adults!) busy outside, and we have lots of kid activities (books, coloring, play dough) for inside play as well.

We have lots of baby items to make your stay easier: high chair, pack and play, travel bassinet, and double stroller to name a few!

There is also a fire pit in the backyard as well as a gas grill.

living room: full size leather sofa/ futon, and fun chair that folds down into a twin bed!

Boalsburg Residence

Home was very nice and comfortable. My dog enjoyed the fenced back yard. I didn't think the bed was very comfortable, but I slept very well, so no complaints. My stay was very relaxing. The only issue was accessing the front door. The description indicated there was only one step, making it accessible to most. Unfortunately, that one step was very high, and there was no railing, and I had a very difficult time getting up on it. The back door was easier to access, so after my first entry, I was able to use the back door. A smaller step and rail or a ramp would make the home more accessible.

Perfect Getaway

We had an amazing stay at this house! I stayed here with three friends and the house was absolutely perfect for us. It was spotless when we arrived, and we immediately fell in love with the decor — it’s even better than the photos. The location was great too, close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. I did not bring my dog, but the fenced in yard would have been perfect for her! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay!

Lovely home

We had a wonderful visit. The home is clean and had every special detail to enjoy. The waffles were a very nice touch. Our dog especially loved the back yard which was big enough to throw ball. A great time was had by all!

A Wonderful Rental Experience

The rental was a highlight for our experince that complimented our attendance at the NCAA 2025 Fencing Championships.The home was immaculate and very comfortable. We availed ourselves of the fully functional kitchen for 3 out of 4 days.If you are visiting the area, we cannot recommend this property enough.

Good for babies and toddlers.

We had two babies in our party and had enough room to set up two pack-n-plays in the bunk-bed room. Also, since we were traveling with two littles for a medical appointment, Dawn, very kindly, granted us a late check-out which was very much appreciated

Cute home

Small, cute, tidy home that was well stocked and had a big back yard for the pup to run around. My teens loved the fire pit with s’mores supplies and the waffles with toppings. Location close to everything we needed for states. Angelos pizza is a minute away and delicious! The owner responded promptly with questions. We would stay here again if in the area.We didn’t need anything, but this place is very kid friendly. My only suggestion would to have a table, dresser, small desk in the bunk room. We didn’t have anywhere to unload our stuff or to lay things out on. But that’s minor. We loved the time here.

We had an excellent stay in this cute little blue house! The yard was perfect for our dog, even had a crate we could use so we didnt have to haul ours. It was a perfect locations for us as we were in town for the PA HS indoor track championship. We definitely plan on being back!

I had a lovely stay at the Go Blue! Property. It really was a home away from home. Everything was provided. The area was lovely and it was an easy 10 minute drive to my daughter at Penn State.

Go Blue is an absolute gem!

This cozy cottage, just a stone’s throw from Penn State, is the perfect blend of comfort and charm. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the attention to detail that made our stay so relaxing. The thoughtful touches—plenty of plush towels, a well-stocked kitchen, and even some sweet little extras—made it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn’t be more convenient, especially for Nittany Lion fans. I’m already planning my next trip and can’t wait to stay at Go Blue again. Highly recommend!

great location

Dawn the host is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! very quick response when i had a question. the only issue i had was the bathroom. it needs some attention. stopper in sink doesn't work. tub and shower need work. handle came off in my hand when turning shower on. there is tape around tub to seal the unit to shower and is coming off.

Great place to stay!

This was our second visit to this lovely Boalsburg home. As PSU alumnae, we enjoy returning to the State College area in the summer with our dog. During our stay, our evenings were spent in the backyard having dinner on the patio and having fun sitting around the fire pit. Thanks so much for being a great host!

Adorable house

Adorable house, 10 min drive to main campus. We stayed here so my step daughter could visit for college. We even brought our little pup and the enclosed yard was so convenient. It was an awesome stay!

Weekend Stay

We were in town for our son's golf tournament at PSU and this was a perfect spot for a family of five with 3 kids 13 and under. It was convenient to the courses, clean, breakfast was a hit, and we even used the grill for an easy dinner on one of the nights.

Comfortable home

Clean, comfortable home. Easy check-in; check-out even easier. Host, Dawn, has made communication simple and straightforward. Home is in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting out in the back - decided to have dinner here both nights as it was so peaceful. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

Home Away from Home!

Loved our stay at Go Blue! We travelled to the area from 9 hours away, arriving to a house pre stocked with incidentals, and not having to run to the grocery store immediately was VERY helpful! The waffle station was such a yummy touch for our first morning! The yard is large, and has plenty of space for dogs and kids to run around! Minutes from Penn State….so a great bet for all things Nittany Lion related! Will be back to stay 100%!
