We had tons of fun! The house is situated on a former farm and there are many acres of land. There are trails you can explore. We saw deer come out every evening, they are not scared of people and come really close. The house itself is new and clean, everything is in great shape. The surrounding area is full of historic sites related to the civil war so there's plenty to do during the day. We recommend this place for a family getaway.
The place was everything as advertised. It was nice and comfortable. Had everything that you would need or want in a vacation home. Was hoping to use the fire pit but did not get the chance. The deer in the evening were every entertaining. We had a very pleasant time there and it met our needs. I would highly recommend it.
My husband and my two toddlers and I had a wonderful stay at this home. We enjoyed the property and how secluded it felt and was a close drive to Harpers Ferry and surrounding parks. The house itself was very clean and accommodating for us!
The ride to it was interesting, very narrow roads! Our map location told us we had arrived before we actually did, and this being a first time rental for us we were a little nervous as to what we paid for! However when we arrived very pleased! Pretty setting out in the woods, very nice accommodations, everything was as pictured! We were in town for a family function so we didn’t get to spend really anytime at the location to truly enjoy but will definitely keep this in mind for future visits! Thank you
