The Big Sky Lodge of Northern Arizona features rustic post & beam construction and decor to provide mountain living at its best.

Located among the tall pine trees at the base of the mountains, fresh air, pine scent and wildlife await your arrival. For the few warm days during the summer we have even added Air Conditioning to the home for your total comfort.

The newly renovated kitchen is stocked with all the appliances and kitchen gadgets you will need to cook a feast for your group. Plenty of plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc to host a large group. There is a Traeger grill on the back porch as well as a propane pizza oven for your enjoyment.

Sit out in the sunroom and watch the deer in the yard, curl up in front of one of the two wood-burning fireplaces, or gather around the 12-foot dining room table for a feast with your loved ones.

Mountains, trees, deer and elk surround the sprawling space. Come see the best of Flagstaff high country living. A little over an hour from the Grand Canyon and close to all that Northern Arizona has to offer. What more could you need. Bring your whole family.

Nice house!

Very nice house with open layout. Saw some deer almost every day and it was in a very convenient location. The pictures are a little out of date. There is a new build house under construction in place of the zen symbol park now and no monitors are in the sunroom office.

Great Vaca

Home was great!! Centrally located to see the sights in Flagstaff, Sedona and Grand Canyon. We enjoyed the great patio, comfy bed a well equiped kitchen.

The Perfect Home Away from Home

The owners of this house have thought of everything! The kitchen is fully stocked, there’s ample sleeping space and sitting space for larger families and even a place to work at quietly. There are not enough stars for all that we would rate this home. We came in from out of state to have family Thanksgiving & this home was perfect to host in. This is going to be our go to home from now on when we travel to the area as a group!

Home in the quiet pines.

Great place to relax in the cool pines. Had a great time mtn biking on the nearby trails. Close to the Grand Canyon and other parks. Enjoy the cool weather!

Cool Respite in the pines

Great summer escape from the Phoenix heat. Spacious, well maintained, thoroughly equipped home. Outstanding upgraded kitchen / appliances / bathrooms / patio deck on a very quiet, private, huge lot. All appliances / furnishings are first class. Very accommodating, responsive owners.

Fun & Comfortable

This was a great place with large gathering spaces. Wood burning fireplaces, large master bedroom, spacious kitchen and plenty of amenities. It was a great neighborhood which was close & convenient to get around town. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Winter Getaway

What a perfect place to spend a long weekend and enjoy some snow activities. Had the feeling of being more remote and away from the weekend craziness, but close enough to hop in the car and drive a few minutes to experience the best of what Flagstaff has to offer. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Winter Getaway

Great cabin-house just outside of downtown Flagstaff. Took our 2 year old and our 8 month old and had a blast. Lots of room, tons of outdoor space, heaters that worked perfectly, all around a great place to take a trip

Great location and perfect size

We love the Continental Golf Club neighborhood with great streets for walking and running. Our dog enjoyed the stay, but without a fenced in backyard we had to take her to a dog park to do her business, this isn’t a fault of the property, but a reality for our dog’s preference, thankfully Bushmaster Park was just a few minute drive. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils, and cookware, and everything felt cozy. Communication with the host was quick and cordial and everything worked out great for our stay.

Quiet country club home

We stayed a week at this home and it was spacious and accommodated our needs. When we arrived the Wi-Fi was not working but the host addressed it quickly. 5 star rating except for cleanliness as it's a bit dusty, cobwebs should be removed from master bedroom rafters, there were hairs (not ours) on the bathroom floor and the guest room pillows which may be a reflection of the cleaning company being used. Beyond that, we enjoyed a garage to park our car, a patio in back to drink our morning coffee, and quiet neighbors (except for the German shepherd that is loose in the backyard that scared off a family of deer.

Disappointed

WE checked in after a day at the Gand Canyon and hiking. It was after 7:00pm when we checked in. I noticed a spot on the floor and got a wet paper towel to wipe it up. The floor was absolutely filthy. We looked around at the home and was shocked at the condition and the dirt. We looked around for something to clean the floor with and found dried out wet ones. My granddaughter started cleaning the floors, daughter started wiping down kitchen countertop and grandson start sweeping down cobwebs. There were burned out light bulbs in the kitchen and the master bathroom and the light on the fridge was flashing to change the water filter. We ran to the store to pick up food and some new wet ones so we could mop the dirty floor. We spent over an hour cleaning. We have stated in vrbo properties many times and was shocked that this house was on the list. The bedrooms need new carpet, the house needs a makeover, and a cleaning from top to bottom. I feel like we should get our cleaning deposit back. We left the house way cleaner than we found it.

Communication lapses

The property was nice in a good area. The owner was not accurate in listing amenities (firepit?), and the home was pretty dusty. There were 2 wall sconces missing (which he said he had ordered), and an alarm that was hanging off the wall. There was a section of carpet that was loose, causing a tripping hazard. The couch in living room is so deep that most cannot sit comfortably on it without several pillows behind them. The TV had to be changed by standing up and directing the remote at it. However, the owner had many kitchen amenities, and a great dining area for a large group. The beds were somewhat comfortable. We wish he had provided better instructions for the hot tub (top was broken and very wobbly), and other appliances. We are used to an owner providing a binder with that information, gas and water shutoff and other safety information, as well as restaurant and grocery recommendations. If you aren't too picky, this is a nice home, and could be great with a few tweaks.

Highly communicative and house met all expectations

We had a great stay in Flaghouse. Owners were really quick in responding to questions and the house met or exceeded all expectations. We have stayed a many houses using VRBO and this one is high up in our ratings. The description was accurate, pictures represented what we saw, best stocked house we have ever been in and having the hot tub was awesome.
