While I can appreciate the decorating and obvious effort made in updating the cottage, the basics were neglected. We visited in February, very cold at night. The electrical system only allowed one "window heater/AC" on at a time. You could have hung meat in there when we arrived. No heat on at all. It took hours to warm up to the 60's. The window heater did not operate at all in the back bedroom. Had to move the lone space heater around to heat bathrooms, etc.
Bed frames were propped up with paint cans and plastic bins due to broken bed slates. This did not work well. There was only ONE extra blanket found. Dirty wet towel on the shower floor along with someone's used razor. No hand towels, no wash cloths. Seemed we were expected to avail ourselves of previously used net scrubby poofs hanging from a hook. Floors had dirt and hair through out. Trash in the form of empty food boxes/containers, crumbs and debris in the kitchen cabinets and drawers, nasty pots/pans, poorly stocked utensils. Don't pull out the old school wooden bread board in the kitchen, it had layers of food on it.
Could be a cute place if electrical was upgraded and a couple of mini-splits were installed along with attention to details.
We stayed about 5 nights. The check in was smooth, everything was super clean! The host responded to all of my questions and was super nice! I fell in love with this property and the neighborhood. It is just so calm and peaceful! I will definitely try and book again! ❤️

Cute house
Cute house. Little things we found didn't work properly but was handled ok. Overall, we liked the house but don't think I'd stay in the city again.
This was the perfect escape in one of the best kept secrets in California, this home was simply perfect. Pristine and clean with a huge kitchen, microfoam beds and modern, our family has a great vacation hiking, biking and exploring the mineral hotsprings. From blazing fast internet to board games, pool table and a view of the galaxy at night, this place is a dream. 360 degree mountain range and views. Highly recommend!

Cheap home
I wish there were more photos of the home before staying. Third bedroom is the old laundry room with only a futon couch. The other 2 beds were broken from below being held up with paint cans and cinder blocks. Doesn’t look like they clean very well and there are beware there are cockroaches. It has a very small fridge. The outside yard is not existent. There’s over grown weeds and the bushes that are there aren’t maintained. The only thing positive about this place is the price.
This was an incredible vacation week! Thank you for making this the perfect weekend Beth! The house is a brand new interior and historical. All new appliances, endless amenities for the family. We went to miracle hotsprings nearby everyday and walked indian trail to stone mountain from the front garden of the home. The kids played pool, and explored the candy shop of Onyx, they loved the ghost town, french marina, hiking. You could see the milky way galaxy at night directly above the house. The beds were comfortable and incredible and the towels and linens were designer. This place was magic. We are coming back for xmas.
We left early. The fire in nearby forest made the air hard to breath. We contacted the owner and agreed to get a refund.
They told us that they contacted you to execute the refund.
When will we get our money back?
This was the first time that we used VRBO and our experience has been the worst.
