Comfortable home is walking distance to Afton Alps Ski Area and Afton State Park. It is the perfect place to gather with friends and family, while enjoying the great outdoors. Large kitchen with new appliances and tons of cabinet space. Cozy up at either gas fireplace located in spacious family and living room areas. Even a separate den/bedroom that can be used for a quiet hangout or kids space.

Close to Afton, Stillwater, Hastings, and Hudson, WI, all riverfront downtowns with great shopping and dining. 30 minutes to the Twin Cities!

Great place for downhill skiing, hiking, biking, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing. All located in the scenic St. Croix River Valley.

Beautiful all 4 seasons of the year. Plenty of parking onsite if you trailer a boat. Public boat launch within 5 miles. The Fall is apple orchard time in Denmark Township, 4 fantastic orchards within 7 miles. Some of the best fall colors anywhere. Walk to Afton State Park or just a few miles to Saint Croix Bluffs Regional Park and the Carpenter Nature Center.

Very nice! If you’re skiing it’s a must

Great ski vacation rental!

The house was wonderfully and thoughtfully setup for our stay. Had everything we needed to make our trip comfortable. Very close to the ski resort making it easy to come in and out throughout the day. Highly recommend!

Early spring stay

No skiing this trip as early spring thaw closed Afton Alps. Family agrees that the spacious well equipped home would be great for skiing another time. We liked the proximity to Stillwater, Hudson & Hastings. Check out Selma’s in Afton for the best Ice cream.

Right next to Afton Alps

Great location if you plan to ski. The living areas are bigger than they look in the photos. Lots of room to gather or play games. I give our host five stars. We visited at the end of the ski season and she sent us a message that the resort would be closed on the last day of our stay. We were thankful not to find that out at the last minute.

Amazing Ski Weekend!

We have stayed at this property several years in a row and it never ceases to amaze us how perfect it is. The house has a great layout for larger families and the decor is just SO cozy! I swear I sleep better here than any where else and to arrive and be treated with everything you need for a spaghetti dinner…it’s awesome. All of that and my family can just walk across the street to ski. We will be back next year! Thanks for everything.

Ski week

We stayed at this property last year. It is an outstanding property and has a well appointed kitchen and other nice amenities.The host is very responsive to communications, and ensures the property is exactly as depicted in the listing. There is an attached garage that guests are allowed to use. The ski area is just across the road. The town of Hudson is a shshodt drive and has some good restaurants and bars. We had such a good week last year we booked again this year and it was every bit as good. Planning for next year already.

Wonderful stay near Afton State Park

Spacious home. Very comfortable stay in August. Central air worked well. Loved the natural surroundings. Only slight negative was a bit of musty smell from the damp basement. We kept AC on and it was fine.

End of the road privacy

We were pleased to find that the house was as spacious as described, with plenty of room indoor and out for family visits. The back deck makes a lovely place to gather, and there were plenty of comfortable beds for 6 of us. Our 2 dogs were very happy to be out of the car and to have lots of room to explore. Afton State park is right there, as is the Afton Alps ski area.

Great Place Just Perfect!

It was the perfect place for us to stay for a Hastings Wedding for our granddaughter. It was comfortable and well stocked with beautiful surroundings. It was so quiet. The piano was a special tough to hear granddaughters play. It was spacious and just perfect. Thank you

Hiking

Perfect location to visit state parks in Minnesota & Wisconsin for hiking. Also enjoyed eating and visiting Hudson, Stillwater, and Prescott. Nice swimming beach at Lake St. Croix Beach. House was just as described had everything we needed. Hot outside during our visit, but A/C worked great perfect to relax and cool off after hiking. Nice deck too

Loved staying here

We were so impressed with this house. So much room to spread out. Comfy spaces and beds. And so many extra special touches that made our stay here memorable.
