Nice little cabin

We loved the cabin, we only stayed one night so it was basically a place to sleep. The property is neat with the goats and mini horses. The only two things that should be made aware of and one may be just coincidence but the electric kept kicking out. A guy up the holler yelled and asked if everyone’s power was out and it happened twice. We couldn’t shower or get ready the next morning because it kicked out as I was trying to shower. 😬😬 wife couldn’t do her hair or makeup. I got half a cold shower. Property owner made it sound like the power company was kicking peoples power on and off like some communist crap or something. Second the owners have a Great Pyrenees that watches over the animals. Didn’t have any contact with the dog but he barked ALL night so if you are a light sleeper or noise bothers you this is NOT the place for you to stay. You probably won’t be happy and won’t sleep very well. Owners were nice though what interactions we had. I think if they power was an issue that was known it should have been made known on arrival or maybe a small discount for the inconvenience of not having electric. All in all it was a nice place to stay. It was a little further from town than we wanted but not too bad if you want privacy.

Simple and Sweet

Amazing little jewel. Clean tidy tiny house. Owners make sure you feel welcomed. If you are looking for a quiet place to escape cell phones and the outside world but love animals, you will love this place! We took a record player for background noise and truly had a wonderful stay!

Cute place

We had a great stay! All of the animals were so sweet and fun to watch. We enjoyed a swim in the creek and a fire near the animals. The property manager stayed on property, he introduced himself and then we went our ways. The shed was surprisingly spacious and the bed was super comfy! Our only problem was cleanliness- the shower floor had hair and dirt on it and clearly had not been cleaned. With that being said, we brought flip flops and showered in those. We had a great stay! Thanks!

Relax and Unplug

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The only issue was the freezing cold showers. The water heater is not big enough to heat even one 5 minute shower. We had to turn the water off every 30 seconds to allow the water to heat back up. There is no TV, wifi, or even cell service so this is a great place to unplug. I would give it 5 stars on everything if the water heater worked properly.

We have been vacationing in the TN area for approximately 25 years. We have full time jobs in an unrelated field but we are enjoying this process of sharing our house. We also enjoy photography, wildlife, nature, and traveling in general. We know this house would bring many families lots of joy and beautiful memories if we shared it with them . We will continuously give it TLC and strive to keep it beautiful as well as unique.

Why they chose this property

I initially built the tiny house to allow me to host more guests on my mini farm. This property really feels like you are outside. The clear bathroom roof allows you to see the sun thru the trees. Numerous windows allow you to see what the animals are up to while you brush your teeth! I love staying in this tiny home when not in use....it's simply my favorite place to sleep. At night, you can view a full moon from bed - it makes for a magical place overlooking the creek.
