The animal-friendly apartment "Josef" is about 75 square meters and can accommodate up to 6 people.
It is located on the upper floor and can be reached via a separate entrance.
The apartment is generously equipped with two bedrooms (with double bed), sofa bed in the living / dining area (up to 2 people), large living / dining room with open kitchen, kitchen with stove, oven and microwave, kettle, toaster, high chair, towels , Hair dryer and bed linen, as well as a large balcony. Außer Sauberkeit, prima
Leider schon der Eintritt in die Wohnung ließ böses ahnen: der Eingangsläufer war voller Tierhaare, für die Bettwäsche war eine komplette Fusselrolle nötig, um sie tierhaarfrei zu bekommen & bei den Handtüchern mussten wir eine zweite, saubere Garnitur, bei der jedoch sehr freundlichen und stets ansprechbaren Wohnungsverwalterin erbitten, da das Ausschütteln der Handtücher dem einer Hundedecke gleichkam. Das Sofa konnten wir leider auch nicht nutzen, da es ebenfalls voller Tierhaare war. Wen das nicht stört oder wer eigene Bettwäsche/Handtücher mitbringt findet eine sehr schön und neu eingerichtete Wohnung vor, es ist alles vorhanden, was fürs Tägliche benötigt wird. Die Wohnung ist zudem ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Saarhölzbach ist wirklich nur ein reiner Wohnort, für alles Weitere muss in den nächsten Ort gefahren werden.

Es hat an nichts gefehlt! Wohnung sehr sauber gewesen. Frau Schmidt, die Verwalterin, sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, bei Bedarf kommt sie zügig zu Hilfe. Ringsum wunderbar zum wandern.

sagen bereits alles. Eine 1a Unterkunft, picobello sauber, gut eingerichtet und ruhig gelegen. Mein Mann und ich wandern gerne und fanden die Lage auch als prima Ausgangspunkt für viele Touren.

Schöner Kurztrip an die Saar
Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Ideal für Ausflüge im Saarland und ins benachbarte Rheinland-Pfalz. Toller Empfang durch die Verwalterin. Schade dass es im Ort keine Geschäfte mehr gibt.

Toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zur Saarschleife und nach Mettlach!
Auch für 6 Personen bietet die Wohnung genügend Platz. Betten und Couch sind sehr bequem, die Wohnung war ausgeprochen sauber und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Kontakt mit der Verwalterin Frau Schmidt war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Besondere Highlights waren der Balkon, von welchem man den Vogelfelsen sehen kann und der Brötchenservice am morgen.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung
Wir waren 2 Wochen zu Gast in der Ferienwohnung Vogelsfelsen in Saarhölzbach. An Ausstattung hat wirklich nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit Frau Schmidt war großartig. Der Brötchenservice klappte einwandfrei. Für die Fahrräder gibt es eine Garage. Von hier aus kann man schöne Ausflüge machen. Die Ferienwohnung liegt auf einer Anhöhe. Mit dem Fahrrad muss man bei der Rückkehr den Berg hochschieben. Es sei denn man ist ein sehr sportlicher Mountainbikefahrer oder hat einen Elektromotor. Für das Auto gibt es einen Parkplatz und WLAN hat störungsfrei funktioniert. Alles in Allem kann ich die Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen.

Schöner Kurzurlaub an der Saarschleife
Unser Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung "Ludwig " in Saarhölzbach hat allen Reisenden sehr gut gefallen! Die Lage der Wohnung war für uns optimal, da wir mit unseren Hunden verreist waren und der Weg zum Wald und der dortigen Traumschleife nur wenige hundert Meter von der Haustür entfernt liegt. Das Einchecken durch den Schlüsselsafe verlief prima, sodass wir umgehend unsere Unterkunft beziehen konnten. Desweiteren wurden wir freundlich von der Hausverwalterin in Empfang genommen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und alles, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigt haben, war vorhanden. Wir haben jeden Abend die Aussicht vom Balkon auf den Vogelfelsen sehr genossen und konnten auch des Öfteren draußen frühstücken oder grillen. Die nähere Umgebung hatte ebenfalls Einiges zu bieten, wie z.B. die Saarschleife in Mettlach und viele Traumschleifen zum Wandern. Auch gibt es in dem Ort einen Bahnhof, wodurch man gut an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel angeschlossen ist. Wir waren daher rundum zufrieden! :-)

Tolle Lage und Ausstattung, ideal zum Wandern und Abschalten
Steilhänge mit Wanderwegen und Ausblick direkt vor der Haustür, Cloef-Atrium und Spa-Möglichkeiten 20 Autominuten entfernt. Kommunikation mit Eigentümer und Verwalterin schnell und effizient. Alles so vorgefunden wie beschrieben. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Schöne Wohnung ziemlich neu renoviert, mit zwei Schlafzimmern, Bad und Wohn- Ess- und Küchenbereich. Eine Waschmaschine fehlt, der Wasserhahn in der Küche tropft und die Kaffeemaschnie hat bessere Tage gesehen. Der Zugang über die Außentreppe ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr schöner Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge.

A most excellent stay
Due to a hiccup in communication with us touring and limited access to internet we didn’t receive the door code prior to arrival. We were stood outside the property looking lost, hot and confused, this drew the attention of the neighbours who were the most helpful people you could ever meet. The language barrier collapsed as they all rallied round to solve the problem and we were in the property in no time which was a welcome and well kept home. The owner turned up shortly after to ensure we had settled in. It was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. We were sad to leave after the two day stay as we were made to feel part of the community. Love to return in the future.
