Location was centrally located to where we wanted to be. House fit our needs to a “T”. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!Jennifer

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Nasty dirty
Cobwebs on the kitchen cabinets so thick you could write your name in it. Ceiling fans edges were black and no remote for the one in the living room. Bed in 2 of the bedrooms were about 3”off the floor, bought risers for one bed because it was so low you couldn’t get out of it.I w ent and bought pans and cutlery because theirs were so nasty. Did purchase and left some plastic ware so had some Turo store food in.Would not ever recommend this to anyone if it wasn’t cleaned properly and new pots and pans weren’t bought.
The property was everything it was advertised as. Inside the home had a comforting layout and a welcoming feel.
The only negative was the lawn had not been mowed, front or back, which was a little disappointing since our dog was out there. Not sure what was laying around and couldn’t see any dangers.
Again, it was a great place for our intentions.
Thank you Harriet and your team.

House was located conveniently to beach, lake, and stores as long as you have a car (ie, it is not right in the beach or right next to a bird sanctuary but within 5-10 min easy drive). House has two full bathrooms (one with shower, one bath/shower), workable kitchen and good amenities. Fully furnished with vacation items (knives are dull, grill needs to be cleaned, but good fridge, wifi, washer/dryer, ac, ceiling fans.!) would stay here again for sure!
The property is nice and clean. Has almost anything you could need. Is a five minute at most drive from the beach. Its close to restaurants, grocery stores. Theres a fenced in backyard, grill area, theres even a shelving unit in the garage with beachtoys. We went to lulus ice cream almost every night during our stay. It was comfortable for teens and toddlers. Would definitely rent again.
The property was exactly what we expected based on pics in the listing.
There was some confusion as to where to park our extra (3rd) vehicle but we improvised. Did not address with the host as we made do but would have preferred clearer instructions (something about parking in a lot across the street??). We did have a significant maintenance issue that was raised the morning after check in. It was promptly rectified by the host that same afternoon.
Had pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen except a vegetable peeler for carrots/potatoes. New dual Keurig coffee maker that uses k-cups and can make coffee by the pot. Also had a brand new air fryer and 4 slice toaster.
Some aspects of the property could be better - window blinds let light in, street/traffic noise is noticeable from the main road, electric stove is obviously old but worked well, bedroom with 2 beds is very tight with minimal access to wall outlets for charging electronics, some rooms require the ceiling fan to stay on when the ceiling light is on - but everything was fine for a long weekend stay.
Beds were comfortable with sufficient pillows and decent bedding. The women brought their own pillows (habit) and a blanket or 2 from home since the weather was cooler.
There were books and DVDs to use; the garage had a cornhole game and a bunch of beach stuff to borrow. Large grill in the carport. So overall was a great stay just minutes to the Park Ave causeway between Redington Shores and Indian Shores.
The location of the home was good for our days trips to varied locations in the area - Tampa, St. Petes, Pine Island, Sarasota, Fort de Soto, and the beaches down the street. The washer and dryer were nice to have. The neighborhood was quiet and comfortable for evening walks.
This house is located just a few minutes from the beach, in a quiet neighborhood, a major selling point for staying here. It's a basic, no frills, 3 bedroom 2 bath home. The fenced yard is nice for pets, but the only outdoor space is the carport, which is obviously not private. The furniture needs to be updated, a problem I communicated to Courtney, the property manager. Courtney was excellent about responding to other problems during our 4 week stay. Even though we were appreciative of Harriet and Courtney's prompt attention, I have stayed in another of Harriet's properties, which was much more updated and comfortable, so I probably wouldn't return to this home for an extended stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house had exactly what we needed and we also loved the coastal beach vibe throughout the house. Yes the house is a little older but it is very clean, smells great and has very comfortable beds. The price point was great for us but we were still close enough to the beach. We ate at The Reef in Madeira beach one and their ranch is amazing. The men also enhoyed a 5 hour fishing trip Harbor something out of St. Johms Pass. The restaurant, The Caddy cooked what they caught and it was so good. The lady also communicated quickly with us when I asked if we could stay one hour longer. We will stay here again.
The house was good for the size of the group. Not too
far from the beach and restaurants.
Negatives: front bed room fan had only one speed. the light in the hallway needs to be attached to the ceiling better.
2nd bed room, bed needs to be higher. Living room: clean or remove carpet, one edge of carpet is turning up. Someone could fall. There is a leak in the kitchen ceiling. Safety tape by front step. Better skillets in the kitchen, everything was sticking. Bathrooms need some type of bar in the the tub and shower areas. Ceiling fan in dinning area needs to be cleaned. Did not use dish washer because it did not look safe. Shelve needed in back bathroom. No place to put anything. I am not criticizing the place, these are just suggestions that was noticed.
Thank you Mary Ann Turcotte
This property is very comfortable and cozy. Harriet was very responsive and the space was wonderful. It is located right near the beaches and all activities. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this home. I felt like it was my own.
Very clean, very convenient to beach access. Overall nice place to stay, only thing was the broken shelves in the refrigerator and some of the pans were pretty scratched up , Teflon shouldn’t be used once scratched. Everything else was good.
The house was all we needed, a basic, no frills, place to stay (sleep). Although I couldn’t take advantage of it, the host advised us earlier check in was available. I appreciate the host understanding regarding a miscommunication in the checkout process. Thanks.
Location and neighborhood great. Good to have a fenced yard. Owner responded to our request to hook up ice maker (we felt this should have already been done) and fix toilet. Biggest issue was NO storage in bedrooms. No dressers. Also no storage in master bath for toiletries. Had to live out of a suitcase. Not enough silverware and some cookware needs replaced.
