The Perfect Beach Stay!

My husband & I stayed here for a summer getaway and absolutely loved it. The location can't be beat & the hosts were great. A huge plus for us was being able to bring our dog too! Easy walk to the beach or rent their golfcart for super convenient trip. Would definitely stay here again, it was perfect!

A great time

We had an amazing stay. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. The house was perfect location wise. A bit of a walk to the beach, consider driving and dropping everything off and then having one person walk. Renting the golf cart would be ideal. We would absolutely return!

Beach Vacation

Had a good time, hosts were very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood was quiet and the beach was a short golf cart ride away. They’re close enough to shopping but not close enough that you had to deal with the noise of traffic. Weather was a nice change from home.

Stayed a couple of days to take care of my military daughter who had her tonsils removed. Place is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Approximately 10 minute walk to beach. Can see part of bay but not on property. Description of property should state owner stays above you with family. Could hear walking, dog running/barking, and chairs scraping over floor, our ceiling! 2nd bathroom needs updated along with some other things. Overall was a nice place to stay minus noise.

OK place for short stay

It was unclear to us from the listing that our rental was for only the ground level floor of the house with other occupants on the 2nd floor. 1 of the 2 bathrooms was not working during our stay. The owner notified us day of our arrival that a plumber had been called but it was never communicated to us that it had been resolved during our stay so we only had 1 working bathroom. The 1 working bathroom created objectionable noises in the kitchen sink whenever the toilet was flushed. This was pointed out to the owner but dismissed as normal. The washer vibrated excessively when used. Given that we only had 2 persons staying here these issues did not prevent us from overall enjoying our time in Emerald Isle.

Great Week

We had beautiful weather, a comfortable home and loads of relaxation. Great location, the point beach is beautiful, and near the bike trail. Also a bonus it was a pet friendly home.

Best Location Single Story Emerald Isle

Wheelchair accessible! So adorable, clean, lovely home. No Steps! Because of this we could gather in the evenings with my son’s family (granddaughter is in a wheelchair) Loved staying here- so comfortable and great full kitchen!

We were really busy and stressed furniture shopping for our new home being built. This home was nice to come back to in the evening! Great location. Close to beach. Not far from downtown restaurants!

Relax at the point!

This location is one of the best on Emerald Isle as far as I’m concerned. Melissa the owner cleans a clean place and it’s perfect for one or two couples if I had children or grandchildren I might would take one or two with myself and spouse but not big enough room for large family! That’s what makes it perfect for me. Awesome being so close to the point! Perfect for biking! If the day is rainy or cold stay home and watch all the television channels you can imagine! Will be staying here again!

Welcome to Tailz Down our Guest Suite! We purchased this property because of its close walk to the beach and its located at our favorite place The Point. My husband and I have 3 children and 1 grandchild. We live above Taiz Down in Finz Up. I work from home as a travel agent and a caterer. I can offer you concierge service from picking up groceries for you to delivering full meals. We offer a golf cart rental, bicycle rentals and we can provide you with beach chairs and umbrella upon request.

Why they chose this property

We have been visiting Emerald Isle for over 30 years and have decided to make it our home in 2021.

What makes this property unique

We are a short walk to the beach access, close to beach driving access, channel views and the best sunsets on the island are right out the front door. Quiet area where you can ride bikes, walk or just sit in one of our 2 porch swings and relax.
