In this practically furnished chalet in Tzummarum you will experience a pleasant vacation in Friesland. After an active day in the beautiful surroundings, you can relax with your family and friends by the oil stove or outside on the open terrace with garden furniture and a picnic table. Here you stay in a welcoming vacation park in the province of Friesland, well suited for families with children. Here you will find a swimming pool with separate children's pool, cafeteria, playground, table tennis, tennis court and volleyball court. At the reception you can rent bicycles. Free Wi-Fi is available in the reception area. The immediate surroundings of this vacation home have a lot to offer. Take a hike through the unique nature of the Wadden Sea. By bike or on foot you can travel along the dike towards Harlingen, with views of the Wadden Sea on one side, and on the other the typical terps with authentic farms. The beautiful harbor town of Harlingen is only 14 km away. Here you will find a beach and many stores, but you can also admire the town hall, the lighthouse and the Zuiderhaven marina. From Harlingen, the ferry goes to the Wadden Islands of Vlieland and Terschelling, which are definitely worth a visit. Only 5 km from the vacation home is Franeker, known from the Eleven Cities Tour. Make a visit here to the old town and the planetarium. 22 km from the vacation home is Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland. On cooler days you can visit with your children the indoor playground Aeolus, which is only 5 km away and offers many activities. There is especially much to discover in the glass pyramid. The vacation home is located about 7 km from the indoor swimming pool Bloemketerp in Franeker.

Klein und Fein aber ungepflegt

Ich war allein mit meinem Hund dort. Wie es dort zu viert bei schlechtem Wetter aushält ist mir ein Rätsel. Für meine Bedürfnisse war die Größe perfekt. Im der Ausstattung alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Die Sauberkeit lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig. Auf dem einen Bett war Laken voll mit undefinierbaren Fusseln/Haaren, vielleicht einer Katze oder eines Hundes. Es gab ja noch genug andere Betten. Insgesamt wirkte das ganze Objekt etwas vernachlässigt und ungepflegt. Der Rasen ewig nicht mehr gemäht, Bäume nicht gestutzt, ein kaputter Gartenstuhl usw. Im Bad gab es weder Licht noch eine Steckdose. Andere Objekte in der Nachbarschaft sahen deutlich besser aus. Zur Beschreibung der Wohnung: Einen Strand sucht man vergeblich in der Nähe. Restaurants gibt es nur eins im Ort und das hat nicht regelmäßig geöffnet. Ansonsten ist man auf die Snackbars angewiesen oder muss mit dem Auto fahren. Ich würde die Wohnung nicht nochmal buchen.
