Included in your stay, between March and October there are chair and umbrella set-ups on the beach. They also offer kayak and paddle board rentals for $20/hr.

This one's on the third floor, so if you don't mind the steps the privacy and view are superior. It's our most often requested condo with return guests.

Enjoy our lovely vacation home on Okaloosa Island. Newly remodelled in light and bright pastels, flat screen TV's, and king memory foam mattress,etc. The sugar white beach and emerald green water are just out the back door.

Watch the dolphins in the morning and the sunset in the evening from the private balcony. There is a gas grill for cookouts, and we have beach chairs, umbrellas and floats for fun on the beach. The Pier and Boardwalk are an easy walk down the beach.

Villas Capri is located between the Surf Dweller Condominiums and the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort on Okaloosa Island, off of Santa Rosa Boulevard at: 556 Coral Court, Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Amazing

We absolutely loved the location and this condo , it was clean and steps away from the Beach , we loved the fact it was a smaller place with less crowds . We saw dolphins from the Balcony one afternoon . Bed is soft and shower has good pressure !

Cute, Cozy, Comfortable, Clean

Cozy/comfortable condo with amazing views of white sand and emerald water. Hosts have provided everything you need for your stay and leave detailed instructions for the condo. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the beach with the complimentary beach service (chairs and umbrellas) and relaxing on the balcony in the evening. Sunsets and moon over water were absolutely gorgeous. Saw several dolphins from the balcony in the water. Location is great—away from the Destin traffic. All in all very relaxing!

Love this condo

I've stayed in this unit twice and loved it both times. The building is older and could use new paint but for the price this is a great, clean place to stay.

Awesome

Definitely recommended.. the view was beautiful, got to see dolphins right from the balcony, right on the beach, outside showers to wash off sand and salt water, the rooms was clean and the staff was really nice but didn’t bother us at all, the owner was very accommodating, washer and dryer on site which was nice easy to use. Definitely would go back and stay there again 😃

Amazing stay

Not the most elegant or super fancy but it was amazing. Communication was super easy and the place was really cozy. Amazing beachside view. Not a large facility so you don't have to deal with all the different guests. Family friendly and convenient location.

Unique property on the beach - comes with beach chair/unbrellas setup

Ideal for a couple with a well behaved small dog looking for an 150 ft walk from their door to the gulf beach with a great view of the beach and gulf from the top floor of the 3 story, 12 unit property. Property appears to be one of the remaining original buildings on the beach and is a little dated but that gives it unique charm and feel and comfort. Best thing we loved and were surprised by the rental was that it came with two beach chair and umbrella set ups by beach staff on the beach so we did not have carry chairs to the beach each day. Balcony provides a great hang out with sun at least in early October. Appeared to have several recurring renters.

WOW-What a view!

We arrived to a wonderful cute condo that was clean and well equipped. Really couldn't ask for anything more. The owners do a great job responding and answering any questions before hand. What is really nice about this condo is you view the beach and the ocean and it calls you to come which you pick up one of the beach chairs if you want to go down and ready for a little while and it takes just a couple of minutes because you are literally right there. Since this is a small condominium, everyone seems to be very friendly which is a plus. If you have trouble walking upstairs though, this would not be the place for you. I would definitely come again.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Stay at your own risk! We had a terrible experience! Only time I have had a problem with a VRBO property. There were roaches all over the kitchen. Owner knew there was roaches and still rented to us. He said he had it sprayed 2 weeks prior however must not have worked. Owner refused to refund money! He wanted us to stay and let someone spray for the roaches again.

Not happy

Did not receive key code to door even though I contacted the owner a week before rental. Did not return my call until 3 days after beginning rental date. Condo was ok except for excessive mold in air unit closet, bathroom and vents. Was told dogs were allowed on n beach😡😡 Did not find out till last day of stay that they were not by law and I could have been fined $100-500.00. Unit needed light bulbs that were out. Unit needs updating.

Perfect Getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Capri (Third Floor). It is a low density condo complex, which is highly preferred over the larger and crowded condo complexes next door. Due to the lower density, the deeded beach access was not crowded unlike other parts of the beach. Chair service is provided from 9-5, but around 3:30 Surfside will start putting away chairs/umbrellas if not occupied. While they dedicated 8 chairs/4 umbrellas to our complex, if the reservation signs weren’t posted, guests of Wyndham would occupy our chairs. Although, this did not appear to happen often during our stay. The owners provide beach chairs, which made it nice after 5. Also, past guests left beach toys and boogie boards, which we ended up using the boogie boards. The kids loved them! I would recommend the Third Floor for the best views, if you are physically able to climb stairs...it offers the best views! Also, the unit has a closet, so I recommend bringing hangers, if you prefer some of your clothes to be hung up. The bathroom updates made in this unit were really nice and I look forward to seeing any further updates, especially the kitchen. Linens/Blankets for the pullout sofa should be replaced. Overall, this was a great trip in a great location, quite close to everything in Okaloosa Island/Destin.

will look for something else next year

This is our second year staying at the Villas Capri. We love the area. The condo is right on the beach and has a great view. We love using the pool at the Holiday Inn. In 2011, we stayed on the first floor and had a great experience. Upon check-in, it became evident that the air conditioner was not working. We called but was told that the owner wasn't available at that time (it was later in the evening). We slept that evening in quite a warm condo which was fine but we had a 5 month old which made me concerned. The next day, I called again and a repairman brought a portable air conditioner. He then accused us of running the a/c with the doors open even though we just checked in. The portable unit cooled half the condo but left the back bedroom still warm. Further, it drained a lot of water which we learned after waking up to a flooded floor. My husband then had to empty a large bucket every few hours. We vowed to not let the situation ruin our vacation but had a more critical eye of the condo as a whole. The bathroom needs repair as more water comes out the the faucet than the showerhead, furniture is ripped, remotes for tvs did not work, etc. We were never compensated for our problems and I don't think the condo ended up being worth what we paid. Thus, I am certain we will be looking elsewhere in the future.

Nice Little Place, but rates a bit high for what is offered

Was small and in some ways cramped even for 2 with rates that we anticipated a bit better, but nice overall. Not much room for storing things and closet had lots of supplies for repairs it appeared. Bathroom was quite nice, but shower curtain had mildew spots. We noticed quite a few things around the place that could be remodeled and updated. Only having counter to eat at would be okay, but stools not tall enough. Dissapointed in final effort to reach out to owner when our trip had to be cut short due to the loss of a family member and reached out to him, but he never replied at all.
