Welcome to Bear Moon Rising, a modern cabin nestled within the majestic Great Smoky Mountains. This peaceful sanctuary is proudly presented by Moonrise Vacation Properties, LLC, promising a perfect blend of thrilling adventures and serene relaxation. Our extensive list of amenities includes a year-round indoor pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a game room filled with arcade games and an impressive 8-foot pool table. A community pool also awaits guests from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Film buffs will delight in our comfy theater room, complete with reclining sofas, cozy blankets, an huge 8-foot screen, and surround sound for a truly immersive cinema experience. Each of our five king-sized bedrooms includes a private bathroom, with one bedroom featuring a queen-over-queen bunk bed. The top level hosts a twin daybed with a trundle, along with two queen sofa beds. For your entertainment needs, all TVs are equipped with Spectrum cable and various streaming services.

Experience the refreshing mountain air as you savour your morning or evening beverage on any of our three spacious decks. The main deck comes with a TV and a fireplace (available from November to March), offering breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Great Smoky Mountains. Great stay

This house exceeded expectations. Our family met to celebrate Christmas in Feb. we had a great time and surprise snow! Communication was the best as well. We already talked about coming back this summer .

Great place.

We had a great time here. The grandkids loved the pool, games and theater room. House included many extras. For example plenty of dishwasher pods, soap, garbage bags etc. Jamie is quick to respond with any questions. We were snowed/iced in and she contacted her HOA. They came with shovels. Thanks for a great time.

Great Cabin and lots of room!

We really enjoyed ourselves at the cabin. I would have given an overall 5 stars but the arcade games in the basement didn't work. The driving/racing games only work a few times. Very Disappointed - that was one key factor we booked this cabin. Pool alarms were annoying - but know it's TN law, but going in/out of the pool room you literally had 5 seconds to shut the door behind you or alarm would sound. The basement was very cold also (would recommend a space heater or something while people are down there). We really enjoyed the hot tubs and all the room we had in the house (we had 20 people). My only other concern was how steep the hill is coming down to the house. We did fine when it snowed/sleeted (they had bins with rock salt/ice melt) and we were fine with our vehicles but if we stayed a long period, we ran out (on day 3). Just a precaution.

Gatlinburg Mountain Home for large family

The house is in a great location. Loved that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with all the basics plenty of utensils and plates etc., the only problem is when grilling outside in the evening there’s not enough light on the deck. My biggest complaint was when we got there the main floor was chilly after messing with the thermostat discovered it wasn’t working. Called the hosts and a repair person couldn’t get there until next day so our first night was miserable as it got cold on the main floor. . Found out the next day that the breaker wasn’t on I think property manager should check to make sure before guests arrive that everything is working. My family loved the hot tubs, which were a hit and indoor pool. We did struggle with getting the TV’s all setup it would be nice to have a specific instruction booklet as not all people are up on the latest technology of streaming etc. we were provided a manual online but it didn’t address the issue. Another thing was that the games in the game room didn’t always work, and the pool cues at the pool table need fixed as no ends on them. Otherwise The house was great for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids.

Amazing Experience

This property was just perfect for our extended Thanksgiving. It was clean, well equipped, had plenty of space and parking for everyone, and the pool, jacuzzis, game room and theater kept our crew entertained while still enjoying being together in the home. It had plenty of indoor space and parking. It was close to Gatlinburg and the beautiful outdoor life of the Smokey Mountains. Very well appointed and beautifully decorated. The owners even had it decorated for the holidays. We reached out to the owners a few times before and after the stay and each time they were helpful and responded quickly. The neighborhood the property is in is also very beautiful. It accommodated Our family very nicely.

The cabin was amazing and the amenities were top tier

The cabin was just as described. It was spacious enough for a crowd of 20 and were not on top of each other all day. There were plenty of things in there to keep the kids occupied. The host covered all the bases. They made sure everything needed for a stay was available all the way down to cooking oil and soap and shampoo in all the bathrooms. I would definitely book this cabin again

Great Vacation Cabin

This cabin is an amazing place to stay for a large family group. We had all ages at the cabin and each family had their own separate space. The eating area and kitchen was large and well supplied to eat family meals. Both the indoor pool and access to the Resort pool gave the kids plenty of opportunity to enjoy swimming, and who can top having two hot tubs? I would highly recommend this place!! The owners were excellent in communicating with.us.

Expectations meet reality

Great accommodations from youngest 8 year old to oldest 77 year old. Arcade, hot tub, pool, front porch swing and comfy rockers provided something for everyone. A plus is a bath for every bedroom. The pictures portray an accurate description. An entry carpet need spot cleaning but our prediction is that will be addressed before the next guests arrive.

Family Vacation

Great House, clean, spacious. Easy access to Gatlinburg and Dollywood. Would highly recommend for group of 10 to 16. Plenty of room for kids to play and adults to relax. Double refrigerator and dish washer was a very convenient. Indoor pool and theater room kids busy. Ready to go again.

Family fun for everyone

The property was very clean. Beds were comfortable, the two dishwasher and refrigerator was great. The black bear came into backyard with 3 cubs. Was amazing watching them playing.

Family Reunion for our Gigi

Our stay was amazing. The host thought of everything that we would need for a get together. From the games, pool, theater room, and even the pool table. From toddlers to teenagers and adults we had an amazing time. We definitely plan on coming back in next year. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous Property!

Our extended family of 15 loved this cabin. The very quick response and quick action during our stay was far above any we have experienced. The attention to little details was also far and above any other place. We were never in need of any little items--laundry and dish soap, coffee, trash bags, q-tips, etc. Will certainly stay here again.
