Garden Valley Escape on the River

This beautiful private 2 story larger cabin has lots of room for the whole gang. It sits on almost 2 acres of river front. It sits on the beautiful Middle Fork of the Payette River. There are decks with views and its own beach volleyball court. You can relax, fish or float the river. Hiking and riding trails are all close by. It’s 1/4 mile to the nation forest. In the winter, snowmobile riding is close.

Wonderful Time

The cabin is cozy and has a beautiful view of the river. We went snowshoeing around the property. We had a wonderful time.

Lovely location

We had a great time staying at this property. Lovely location. The yard is beautiful, and the house sits right on the river. Very tranquil. My kids found fresh water mussels growing right in front of the house! Such a fun find. The house was equipped with everything we needed.

Great ladies trip

Stayed for a family ladies trip. Super fun, absolutely perfect for group cooking, hanging on the deck and in the water. Lots of good family time thanks to this lovely cabin.

Fun Family Getaway

Beautiful property right on the river. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Lovely deck overlooking the yard and river. Owners responsive, communicated well. No dishwasher and the water smells strongly of sulfur so bring paper plates and plenty of drinking water! Regardless, I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Second time around!

Better than the first time! I’ve stayed here twice now . What a fun cabin! Right on the river and this time the snow has melted to reveal a beautiful yard below. Several times in the afternoon I took my camp chair down to the waters edge and dozed off in the sun… I miss this place already.

Relaxing on the River

Cabin was perfect, the yard off the deck sits right on the river. I walked down and just soaked up some sunshine . I really can’t wait to stay here again. The snow is almost gone and I want to enjoy this spacious yard on the river.

The Family Loved It!

We booked this property to treat the family to a celebration for my dad’s 80th birthday. All I can say is WOW! The property itself is gorgeous and spacious with plenty of wildlife to enjoy. The rooms were well decorated and spotless. The young kids had a great time playing in the snow while the adults enjoyed reminiscing about the “good old days” by the cozy fire. The older kids rented a snowmobile at a local shop and had an absolute blast. We cannot wait to book the cabin again this summer and go hiking, fishing, and kayaking with the family. Thanks again to our wonderful host for this memorable stay!

Christmas reunion getaway!

The house had everything we needed! Loved the view of the river and enjoyed the fireplace with abundant wood. Snowshoeing around the area and soaking in the terrace lakes swim pool was a plus. Beds were comfortable.

This place was a dream. The river calming. The view to die for. The home comfortable. We saw elk, deer and many protected birds. We will stay again!
