Sehr schöne Dachgeschosswohnung in Böblingen. Super Kontakt mit der Vermieter und unkomplizierter Check-in. Alles vorhanden was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. Gerne wieder, 5 Sterne.

Fernseher und Radio waren sehr schwer zu handhaben. Gebrauchsanweisung sehr mangelhaft. Handdusche im Bad nicht benutzbar.. Sauberkeit war ok. Kaffeemaschine für Filterkaffee nicht vorhanden.

Great Location - New Unit, Nice Owner, Noisy in summer - 4 flights of stairs

For our needs the apartment was where we needed it to be at a fair price. The apt is new and in an excellent location. There are some issues that renters need to be aware of: 1. If you are renting this in the summer be prepared for the windows being opened, the fan running 24 hrs a day and a lot of road noise. Stuttgart Strasse is a very busy street. If the windows are closed the apartment is quite. This is not an option for the summer months. 2. The shower takes a couple of days to figure out. It is connected to the owners on-demand water heater downstairs and it takes a while to get hot water and then the controls to change temperature takes a while to respond. The shower is very small with minimal water pressure. 3. There were no kitchen supplies to get us started. so, if you arrive late in the evening or on a Sunday you are out of luck for coffee. Luckily I travel with instant coffee. We left Phillips coffee pods and tea for the next renter as well as sugar and almond butter. 4. You are on the 4th floor. Three flights of narrow stairs followed by a super narrow flight of stairs once you open the apartment door. If you have a lot of luggage be prepared. 5. We had 1 set of keys between three adults. You must have a key if you leave the apartment, the apartment doors locks automatically upon exit as does the stairwell door. We were unable to get the remote stairwell door unlock button to work so be prepared to go down 4 flights of stairs if someone buzzes. 6. The wifi worked well, the TV was not used, parking is on the street and is limited, have a small car. This is NOT the first VRBO I have rented so I have a basis for my comments. The owner is responsive and pleasant. The apartment seems to be a new renovation with some cool features. I think in time a few of these issues will be worked out. I write this review not to be critical but to be informative. The apartment was in easy walking distance to a mall, excellent restaurants, brewery with amazing beer and food, a couple of basic grocery stores, bakeries, the S-Bahn, bars and so forth. If you are looking for a home-base for Boblingen and southern Germany this may be the unit for you. The owner is responsive to emails and will answer all of your questions. HLD

Toller Aufenthalt in BB

Die Wohnung war für uns ideal, gute, zentrale Lage, kein Parplatzproblem. Eine sep. Etage, man hatte "sein eigenes Reich" mit Blick über BB. Selbst bei grosser Hitze war mit entsprechender Lüftung trotz Dachgeschoss die Raumtemperatur akzeptabel. Eine zweckmässige Einrichtung, es war alles vorhanden, was so benötigt wird. W-Lan mit guter Verbindung. Vielleicht nicht für Personen, die kein Dachgeschoss und etwas Treppensteigen mögen, hat uns mit 75 aber nicht gestört. Treppensteigen soll doch kreislauffördernd sein. Wir möchten gern wiederkommen H & UFS

centrally located well equippped but in a noisy area

very well equipped little apartment, bright with great views but when windows were open (-a must after a hot day in order to cool down the apartment -) there was lots of noise (cars, not people) from the busy streets below. Noise level went down some at night but started up very early (by 6am or earlier). Apartment has bedroom where 2 people can sleep (close quarters) and a good couch to sleep on in the living room (for one other person). Apartment is, at stated in the ad, on the 3rd floor of a single family house at a busy street corner. This means lots of steps and the last ones are rather narrow and steep which makes this not a good option for folks with young kids or those out of shape or with lots of luggage. Washing machine (works well) is in the basement, which means 4floors to head back up (drying rack is in the apartment). Hot water supply was unreliable even when following the instructions provided. This meant that one could never be sure that the water for washing dishes or for a shower was hot or even warm at all (or for more than a minute). Sometimes it worked but more times it did not.

Centrally located

This is a nice attic apartment which has all of the amenities required for an extended stay in the Böblingen area for a 1-2 couples. The sleeping arrangement would be awkward for four people not willing to sleep together in the same bed. My parents enjoyed the central location (bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants, and relatively close S-bahn train stations). I will recommend this property for future visitors to the area.

Super Ferienwohnung!

Die Ferienwohung ist top gepflegt, schön eingerichtet, zentral gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Eine ganz klare Weiterempfehlung!
