Come relax at North Topsail Beach! Our self-catering, beach cottage sits at the end of the island allowing for amazing views of the ocean, the end of the island, the sound, and even a pond across the way! Fall asleep listening to the waves or the spring frogs from the pond.

North Topsail's beaches are a seaside gem. You will find soft sand, shallow tidepools for exploring, shark's teeth or shells for collecting, and deliciously warm water in which to float for hours. FAMILIES will especially love our location as the beaches are less crowded and you can walk right around the tip of the island for all day tidal pools in which to explore and splash. PERFECT FOR THOSE who need an afternoon to sit by the water!

Snatch up some fresh seafood at one of the local markets or restaurants!

Our Home...
The best way to make the most of your beach getaway! Don't get cramped in a hotel or tiny condo! Three large bedrooms plus a bonus game room downstairs will give you plenty of space. A fully stocked kitchen let's you eat at your leisure and make the most of your time at the beach. Beach access is down the street or diagonally across the street at the public access points (a few minutes walk) and since we are at the end of the island you can spread out and relax! The crowds from the condos or large public access sites will be further south.
If you've never been to North Topsail you will fall in love. We hope you enjoy your visit!

We are located in the town of North Topsail Beach and the entire ocean side of the island is one beach. We are across the street from the beach, not a 15 minute walk or drive!

3 Bedrooms:
- Master bedroom has a queen bed and attached, private bath with tub/shower

- Second bedroom has a twin bed with twin trundle and attached, shared full bath with shower (no tub)

- Third bedroom has a pyramid bunk (double on the bottom and twin on the top). This bedroom uses the shared, attached bathroom from the second bedroom noted above. This bathroom is just across the hall.

There is the option to use the third, full bathroom downstairs (shower only, no tub).

This house has pond and ocean VIEWS. It is not directly waterfront. The pond is across the street and the ocean is across the other street.

There are no balconies directly from the bedrooms. The front of the house has a porch (covered deck) which is accessible from the front door in the living room. The back of the house has an open deck which is accessible from the back door at the end of the hallway. No bedrooms open up to or have doors to outside decks, balconies, or patios.

Nice location. Comfortable space. Tried to reach contact and back up contact with an issue and no one responded. There was no sheets on the bed in the master bedroom.

Family Getaway

Wonderful place. Close to beach scenic and relaxing environment. Only issue was in master bathroom the soap from previous renters was left- which I was not aware and during getting ready to shower touched the used soap bars Otherwise would recommend this place. The neighbors in the next duplex was friendly.

Wonderful time!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was perfect, better than it was described. My grandchildren loved the game room in the basement. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking. The location was amazing, only steps to the beach and inlet. I recommend this house ❤️

Such an amazing beach house!

We loved our stay! Such a great house in a great location! Was like staying beach front with the super short walk to the beach. The house was perfect for our family and such a great beach layout. The natural surroundings with the ocean, new river inlet and spring pond were amazing. Better than beachfront! We will stay here again!

Topsail getaway

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Topsail. Everything was as described. The condo is in a great location with a beautiful dog friendly beach that was no crowded at all. We will be back :)

We had a pleasant stay. Anything that was needed was already there. The basement was stocked with games and fun kid's activities. It was easy to check in, and the host was always prompt in answering any questions I had. Easy access to the beach is less than a 3-minute walk, you can see the beach from the porch. Very happy with this rental. Would stay again.

The house was good. Proximity to beach is great. Public access is very close. Read some other reviews ,mentioning the neighbor's dogs. They are barkers but they did try to minimize the issue. Overall our stay was good. Thank you

Great Stay. Amazing area

Love this property, the location is at the end of the island giving us a great route to walk around the northern edge of the island. The home is beautiful. It is on the corner with enough yard for our dogs to play in and so many windows letting in the beach atmosphere. It was very quiet and peaceful for us during our stay as there is hardly any through traffic. The home was totally stocked with everything you might need for a stay at the beach from coffee filters, to charcoal for the grill, to towels for your pets. I want to stay here again.

What a gem!

Better than expected! Pictures on line do not do this place justice - this place has been updated. VERY clean! Three bedrooms and two full baths on main level. Downstairs has a play room, another nice full bathroom and a washer and dryer. Kitchen was fully stocked (microwave, toaster, blender, coffee pot, crock pot, mixer, plenty of dishes and pans). Books, games, toys, and beach chairs were available. Excellent location! Beach was across the road and the sound was a short walk. We will definitely stay here again!

The house wasn't as they said it was

The house had only the bare essceials in kitchen.I looks like it was decorated from a thrift store.The linen's were not clean and were so thin you could see the material in the mattress.

Great location to the beach!

We had a wonderful vacation! Location to beach was closer than expected. Public access was just a short work down the street. Loved that the beach was not crowded at all. We appreciated that beach chairs were already at the house and we didn’t have to bring those along on our trip. We made use of the game room one evening when it was rainy. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The only draw back was the very small 4 cup coffee maker was in desperate need of cleaning. The water tank was filthy. We opted to just buy a cheap 12 cup coffee maker at Dollar General. Other than that everything was perfect! We will definitely plan on coming back again in the next few years!

We were notified 5 minutes before we were due to check in that they were having plumbing issues. 4 hours later the problem was resolved but it was too late/dark to head to the house. We went the next morning and the kitchen and bathroom were filthy from the plumber. The property manager did contact the cleaning lady and told her to come back. We didn’t want to leave our items unattended so we waited around for her. She showed up, not wearing a mask, which is against governors orders in the state. We had to run the dishwasher from the prior tenants and put away their used dishes. The pots/pans/grill were so old/dirty that we wouldn’t use them. A/C never worked properly. The shower in the second bathroom was set so that you turned it towards cold for hot water and towards hot for the cold water. Thankfully my children did not get burned because of this. Asked homeowners for reimbursement for the first night since we could not check in knowing they had plumbing issues. They did not address my concern. Upon check out, we went to put our 1 bag of garbage outside into the trash can to go to the curb. The can was so full it obviously hadn’t been put to the curb in ages. There was so much construction debris in the can we couldn’t even roll it to the curb. Only good thing about this place was it’s proximity to the beach.

End of Island Paradise

The pictures don't do this place justice... the views are spectacular. The home is directly across the street from the ocean and a short walk to the public access. The home is clean and had everything we needed for a week at the beach... towels, boogie boards, grill, games, movies, even basic spices! The kitchen had everything we needed, although we would have loved a full-size coffee pot and blender. We cooked our fresh catch from a morning of fishing on the Vonda Kay one night, made a sun catcher for the living room, napped, listened to music, watched movies, walked the beach and chatted with the neighbors. We spent most of our time on the front porch, which was breezy, covered from the sun and had lots of seating options. It was a great spot to chill out with the dog after long days on the water. Views of the ocean are magnificent, even though the house is across the street. I'd move here in a minute if I could. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to be repeat customers!!

Cozy getaway for the family

We had a fantastic time at Topsail with our eight year old and doggo. The unit is clean and comfortable with lots of activities for kids. Ours loved the game room downstairs. The unit was also well stocked with all the beach stuff you could ask for--chairs, towels, tote bags, sandcastle toys, kites, and boogie boards. The kitchen has a lot of supplies too. We liked being on the quiter end of the island away from the condos and resorts. Our dog had plenty of yard to walk around (on leash) and she and the neighbor dogs barked a bit at each other but all quickly quited down. This is definitely a place where a family and pooch can kick back and relax. If we head Topsail way again, we will look to rebook.

Jack grew up on the coast of Maine, and we both love the water. We were stationed at Camp Lejeune for our first duty station and lived on North Topsail for two of our first five years here. This area of the coast is just fabulous; the warm water and soft sands make the beaches that much more enjoyable.

Why they chose this property

We've looked for years at different properties but this was just the right one. The views are truly gorgeous. This home has all the views- ocean, end of the island, a pond and the sound! It's spacious so families can spread out. I love cooking so I need a large enough kitchen which this home has. We also appreciate having a yard which many of the homes don't have. We can make a fire in the fire pit, roast apples and look over at the ocean waves. The beaches are not crowded since we are at the very end of the island. Public beach access has no parking here, hence daily visitors frequent other parts of the beach. Plenty of room to run and play!
