I love how quiet it is. The place itself is a bit run down. Fridge had full of left over old food and dirty pan. Stove is just not usable but we didn’t have to bake anything. We did enjoy staying there.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a peaceful area. The beds were very comfortable. One of my boys insist that we mark this place as a favorite so we can stay here again in the future.
We were a group of 6 staying 3 nights, 4 of us stayed here last year. I needed Amy’s assistance only once and she answered right away.
We hope to stay here again.
Condo as advertised. Quiet & comfortable. Short 15 min drive to Waterville Valley Ice Arena. Accomodated 3 Moms, 1 Dad & 3 pre-teen hockey players. Perfect for what we needed. Would stay here again.
My fiancé and in-laws stayed at Amy’s condo for the Freestyle World Cup at Waterville Valley. The location was absolutely perfect - close enough to the mountain, but also only 10 minutes from the high way. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and had a great weekend!
For the most part the place was pretty nice. The struggle I had was the Keurig only brewed cold water (didn't work) and the other coffee machine they had either I didn't know how to use it, or if just kept dumping all the grounds into the coffee, even if you used 2 filters. Also my friends are over paranoid, but were worried because a couple windows didn't lock, and we all would've loved to use their fireplace, but it was locked and unavailable.
Located about 10 minutes from Waterville Valley ski resort. Classic ski condo. Older, but very comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for my family of five. Owner was very responsive to questions by VRBO messenger.
Great place to stay while skiing at Waterville Valley. Plenty of room for family of 4. Quiet complex, steps from parking area so that we were within range to auto start the car. REALLY comfortable beds. Clean with basic necessities on site (we didn't use the washer/dryer). When you open the door there is an entry way to remove your wet clothes / ski pants, etc and a cubby to store your boots, etc so you don't need to be tracking snow and dirt all over the house. While in the upstairs loft bed, we could NOT hear the (loud) kids in their bottom floor bedroom, so that was great for the adults sleeping. The main TV is a smart TV with apps (Netflix, etc) loaded on it. No live TV, and the YoutubeTV app is not compatible for this TV, but I was able to cast it from my phone, so all good. A cheap Roku ($30) HDMI plug in will solve that problem. Kitchen and kitchen table big enough for the 4 of us and then some. Centrally located - 15 minutes to the mountain in one direction and 15 minutes to Plymouth State in the other direction with restaurants and taverns along the way. Just an FYI, when leaving the property, there is a slight incline to turn onto the main road, which means a 4 wheel drive vehicle might prove useful during a storm if you are up and out before the sanders hit it. We had a slight dusting and a little ice, and our non 4 wheel drive minivan made it fine. Not a knock on this great rental, just a heads up. Great communication with owner for some questions before arrival. Great rental, happy I chose it.
It really should be 4.5 stars. A great, comfortable space for a family of four or more. Well-equipped kitchen. We booked at very short notice and they were able to accommodate us. Easy check in and check out. Amy was fast in her responses. A bit out of the way to major attractions (but that's why it's "off-grid").
My family stayed here for the 4th of July weekend to celebrate our daughter's 13th birthday. It's a cute and quiet property nestled between 49 and 175 and only a couple miles from 93. The Eddy Day Use area is 5 minutes away, so this condo was very convenient for us. Also, great communication with the host.
Great stay! Plenty of room for 6 of us. Very close to Waterville Valley Ski Resort and other winter activities. The host was quick to respond when we had questions.
We had a fantastic week skiing and returning to this classic ski condo. Everything was clean and beds are comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools and appliances you would ever need, the wifi and television allowed for Apres Ski entertainment on the bluetooth Klipsch Speaker as well as a classic Nintendo for some Mortal Combat and a guitar my son and daughter both entertained us on ... we had a great time as a family being together and relaxing in this terrific spot. If you want to experience the way a ski vacation should be .... one that oozes the Warren Miller type of Ski Hard , Apres Well , Rinse and Repeat ... then this is the place.
Had a great time at this spacious, comfortable townhouse. Everything was as described and advertised. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably and relax after a day on the slopes. Having a kitchen was also very nice as it afforded us ability to cook breakfast and dinner instead of having to go out and find a restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed our time!
