The cabin is pretty rustic and could use some repairs and updating. It was spotless clean, very livable and well accommodated. Comfy beds. Great location and a very nice view.
The location of this property was best we have ever experienced on our annual vacation. The cabin was sufficient for what we needed, and the outdoor area made our week in the northwoods most enjoyable. The clear water and sandy beach were incredible and we very much enjoyed our stay!
Great location on the lake. Cute little cabin. We had a great stay!

The Good:
Outstanding location on a beautiful little ultra-clear water lake. We rented kayaks for the kids, and paddled and fished around the lake every morning and evening. We even ventured out to the Crawling Stone Lake a couple of times through the channel at the northeast corner of the lake. There was easy access to town and it's activities. That alone is all worth the price.
The not-so good:
While the cottage is clean, there were issues.
We blew the kitchen fuse more than once while trying to make toast and coffee at the same time. This would shut down the electric in the kitchen and the kid's bedroom. The fuse box access was outside. The fuse box may need to be updated.
There were holes in the screens. I put a bandaid over one hole in a living room screen to prevent mosquitos, but missed other holes. ...so they snuck in the cottage anyway. The weather was unexpectedly hot for that time of year in general, reaching the 90's, and we needed those windows open to cool off. ...Those screens need replacing.
The front storm door doesn't close. Everytime you open the door, and forget to push or pull it shut, you'd let in more mosquitoes. That door needs to be replaced.
They provided one box fan for air circulation, but even at it's highest setting, it didn't really move air. They should provide three new fans, one for the living room, and one each for the bedrooms.
Lastly, the toilet is wobbly.
Overall, we loved it - but it could be a bit better.
We had a great time at this cabin. The location was perfect, and the lake was wonderful. We assumed from pictures for the cabin that the raft was right in front of our pier, though it was actually in front of a different pier when we went. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay at this cabin!
Our family had a nice stay at this quaint little cabin right on Little Crawling Stone Lake. We enjoyed swimming, fishing off the pier, chilling on the deck & relaxing in the tranquility of the Northwoods .
