Brilliant apartment with everything you need for a week skiing
We had a fantastic week staying in this apartment. For a family of 5 the 3 bedrooms were perfect. The main lounge/kitchen space was a good size, furnished really well and plenty of cookware, plates, utensils etc.The resort was perfect and not as busy as the big resorts.Only frustration was the booking process, follow up questions and access to keys/information. We have booked many apartments/villas over the years through Vrbo which have been direct with owners who have responded to questions and provided lots of information. However, this one was different. We booked with Vrbo but this turned out to be with Poplidays. Poplidays were unable to answer our questions as there was a different rental agency in Vars who were the key holders. It was hard to get any information from different people. There was no helpful information in the apartment either. We therefore had to find out everything ourselves once we arrived. There was a ski locker downstairs which was really useful. The bus picked up from across the road after going up a long set of step then a bit further up the next road. This only took you up to the one set of slopes near the tourist information office and not up to the show point which the agency said it would. The bus does not drop off on the way back from the slopes so you have to walk. Not such a big problem on the way home. The WiFi code was not available so we had to figure out on our own. Car parking space was very tight for a big car and only 2m high.
