This is a lovely comfortable home with a beautiful lake view from the deck, living room, kitchen, master bedroom and bath. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of pots and pans and other essentials. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of sheets, blankets and towels. The air conditioning was much appreciated as we visited in August.
Our grandkids had a great time running around the yard, playing the yard games and challenging their grandpa to a game of pool.
This beautiful home was extremely clean, the landscape immaculately groomed, awesome view of the setting sun, view of lake nearby. Would like to go back.
Two co-workers and I stayed here for a week. The home was beautiful, well kept, and exactly like the listing. It was quiet and peaceful, exactly what we all needed after work. Would stay again.
Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. It was an easy process to check in and everything was where the homeowners said it was going to be. The pictures didn’t do this place justice. There was an amazing view of the lake from the living room. The kitchen was very well appointed and the homeowners left a few staples that helped us out before we could get to the grocery store. There are four bedrooms with four very comfortable beds, particularly in the master bedroom. And then there was the outdoors. There was a gorgeous garden that was well-maintained. We saw deer and other wildlife coming across the yard frequently. We saw Eagles😁. It was a very beautiful place to stay for the tulip festival and visiting with family. When we needed to prep to leave, the homeowners left a very simple set of instructions of what they would like us to do and we were able to accomplish it very quickly. We are planning on coming and visiting again and we hope to be able to stay at this location once more.
Beautiful views and conveniently located to many activities (within an hour or two)- North Cascades, San Juan Islands, Seattle, and Vancouver. Hosts responsive, if needed. House is spacious and well appointed.
We really enjoyed staying here, with great day trips to North Cascades National Park and the San Juan Islands. The house was spacious and nice, and had everything we needed.
We all absolutely loved this house. It had everything we had hoped for; comfy beds, instant hot water, space for everyone to feel together, but not crowded, beautiful lake views and grounds to wonder, country peace with a convenient 15min drive to town. Every amenity was thought of from soft linens to make-up wipes. The pool table gave hours of fun for the whole gang! It was hard to leave each day.
The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items including tin foil which was something we forgot to buy, so we were very grateful to find it. Appliances all worked flawlessly; fridge, range/oven, dishwasher, washer & dryer.
My favorite time was taking a walk around the grounds in the morning. The birds were singing and the bees were buzzing. It felt magical. Also very much enjoyed the antique decorations. They were tastefully positioned here and there without feeling overwhelming. I seemed to always notice a little something new when I came into a room. Loved, loved, loved the inspiring vintage signs throughout; Garden, Laugh, Relax, Giggle to name a few.
The hosts were easy to communicate with before hand and there was no reason to contact them for anything while we were there. But I'm sure they would have promptly responded should we had needed anything. I hope we find ourselves visiting this area again one day. If so, we will definitely be reserving this house again!
Nice place. Loved the decor and style of the house and view of the lake was beautiful.
Beds are soft. Quiet and peaceful!
Would recommend staying here!
Loved the property and location decorated beautifully, had everything you could need or want . A little challenging with the second bathroom being in the master with no privacy door, certainly not a deal breaker, required creative shower planning. Such a well appointed home and very welcoming We will be back
Great place to stay if exploring north of Seattle!
This property was as advertised, and perfectly accommodated our two families. We loved the location and the views were breathtaking! The house was centrally located to visit Seattle, Mt. Baker, Cascade National Park, or the islands. We would highly recommend renting to anyone!
The house was clean and great, the sunsets were beautiful, especially on the upper porch), and the homeowners were very helpful. Only ding is no door for the bathroom in the the primary bedroom. Otherwise, a wonderful spot.
What a fun place to stay! Darli was so easy to work with and was super responsive! The house was comfortable and clean. Open spaces and our boys enjoyed the pool table! So many birds and nature sounds. We had a wonderful time!
Wonderful and clean house. Only about 1-1.5hrs from cascade mountains. Beautiful house with a pool table. Close to Bellingham as well. Sunsets are amazing over the lake. Thanks for a great experience!
