Good location, less than 10mi from ferry, fish right off deck of house, friendly staff at bait shop, great neighbors, fishing was slow, would rent again.
I would definitely stay there again my partner said she would rather stay there than the Hilton nice to be able to feed the seagulls off the rear deck. Location was very convenient other things we wanted to go see.
I really enjoyed the cottage. The location is great for those who enjoy fishing. The views are extraordinary and the area is very quiet. I am looking forward to our next stay!
It was great! Perfect for fishing getaway with my son! Nothi

Loved the vie/w! Lots of room for small family. Amenities like TV/Netflix and coffee maker.
Some minor repairs needed: sink very slow to drain; front door very hard to open.
Would definitely stay again
Excellent experience from host to personnel at Finn and Feather marina to the neighbors we met! Property was clean and very cool air conditioning made it comfortable at the end of the day. Caught lots of fish at the Marina with live bait sourced at the marina. We will be back!

Weekend
Door lock didn’t work, air conditioning throwing water on you when opening door, flooring was uneven, furniture was dated at best.

Cabins!!!
Management and people that we dealt with were great and super friendly. The RV Park definitely needs to be cleaned up and also mentioned in the ads for the cabins. The cabins to had to many problems to lost but some examples are ... Very soft subfloor, no support under the shower so it makes you feel like you are going to fall through, black mold on ceiling in bathroom, Sheetrock coming down from ceiling, ac filters needed desperate cleaning ( which I did) cause the room was hot when originally going in. Overall the cabins are clearly maintained by someone that has no idea what they are doing. (I.e shower was basically build from caulking and strpay paint) Very unlikely we will stay here again.
However the stray cats and pelicans are very nice 🙂

First when we got there the door would not open, once inside my husband had to use the restroom the toilet seat was falling off. Next the drain to the bathroom sink was clogged my husband pulled out a wad of hair the size of a golf ball size . there were dead antson the back of the pillows, to us it felt like the toilet is about to sink through the floor it gives when standing there. the pictures show the porch with 2 chairs there was on one it to is falling apart so you could not sit anywhere outside also needs outside porch light on thw back porch. the beds were comfortable, it you drink coffee bring your own K Cups we brought reguker foffee so we had no coffee till next day went to HEB. If your a 1 man fisherman this cabin is for you we knew there wasn't a kitchen it was nice just to get away.

The property needed lots of repair the floor was uneven and boards were loosed dome of them were sticking up furniture was old and in bad shape bathroom sink was very slow draining took about 30 minutes to drain shower floor gave way when standing in shower which made water stand around ankles the furniture on deck was falling apart the steps by back deck had a hole that was not marked and deep pier had only two lights on it and was very narrow not wide enough to put chair to sit in and there was no bench DONT sysyunless you just want to throw money away but don’t stay here
Its a decent property. Very clean. Right on the water. The views are excellent. You can fish right from the deck or can go on a pier. Just remember to put finandfeathers in google otherwise it will be comfusing just by the address.
What a great place. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Cabin is simple, but in a great location and comfortable. If you’re fishing in the area, this makes an excellent home base. Property owner couldn’t have been nicer.
Cabin is at a Marina/RV park. The whole area is a little run down. The lighted pier is in really bad repair. The cabin itself is very simple but was adequate for our use. Beds were very comfy. Shower was great. I suggest bringing fans in warmer weather.
We chose this location for several reasons. We needed a place where the man could go fishing without me having to go, affordability, and it's between Port A and Rockport. Good thing to because the beaches in Port A were PACKED and we took our almost 3 year old to Rockport beach instead. If you're just going for a long weekend and don't mind not having a kitchen (but who goes on vacation to cook anyway especially with all the great restaurants nearby) then consider this location.
The cabin was clean and perfectly located for those who like to fish. We tied up our canoe at the bottom of the back steps and had easy access to Redfish Bay. Threw out a couple of lines while eating dinner our first evening and pulled in a 22" red. Very fun.
