No communication from owner explaining how to enter property. Sitting outside in 46 degree weather and having to wait on VRBO staff to get a hold of him to help us. They weren’t getting ahold of him so they gave us the contact info and eventually we got in touch and got the code to get in. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and on some of the towels. There was an empty liquor bottle and trash in the dresser in the bedroom We didn’t feel comfortable putting our kids in the “loft bed” as we’d planned so the wife and I slept up there and they took the bedroom. Gave him higher marks for communication only because the heat stopped working and he replied quickly and had maintenance out there promptly. Basically it served its purpose because we just needed a place to sleep while we visited family nearby. The neighborhood is quiet though.
The property worked fine for us because of the location. Check-in process was not communicated. On arrival we called the contact number (owner lives in Tennessee) and before we could get him to answer the phone we discovered the key box on the door knob was not locked and the entry key was inside.
There was a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The bed was not made up. The house smelled like cat.
It was not equipped as well as previous Vrbo's we have stayed in. Example: no hair dryer. Packing a hair dryer for travel is very inconvenient and one has been available in other Vrbo stays.
Description of Rooms and Beds on Vrbo site is at least misleading if not inaccurate. With out going into detail, what it says and what we found were not the same thing. It worked ok because there were just 2 of us and the one queen bed is what we needed.
Amazing little house with great views of downtown Kingman!
This little 'Mohave Mini Mansion' is the most amazing little place I've ever seen! It is so cozy and comfortable and has all the comforts you could possibly want.
The sweeping views through the east-facing windows are incredible! I spent a lot of my time here just watching the clouds roll by.😁
The neighborhood is relatively quiet and is close to all the restaurants and attractions in downtown Kingman.
Make sure you read the story in the binder (found on the coffee table) of the Mohave Mini Mansion - it is delightful.
I could seriously live in this little house. It is truly a hidden gem in downtown Kingman.
