The propert was cute and comfortable and the location was perfect. The dead flies everywhere and dirty toilets would keep me from giving it a better rating. The check in was easy and convenient

Riding in Nelsonville

We had a great time with our ATV’s. We had the perfect house for us with plenty of space for parking and all of us to relax when we returned.

Hawking hills

Overall decent home , listing on Vrbo says hottub upon further investigation that’s a vrbo issue , there is no hot tub , hot water heater was broken upon arrival , owner quickly fixed but still had a day without a shower , great location , recommended to others

Great house!

Had a girls trip to hike in Hocking Hills. The house was great! Spacious common areas, a nice deck and fire pit in the yard! Would definitely recommend!

Weekend Getaway to explore Hocking Hills

We had a great weekend staying at the house! Everything that we needed was provided! Very clean and up to date! The house was in a great location for us to get back and forth to Hocking Hills and for an ATV adventure!

Wonderful Wilderness Location

very easy process to book and very good communication with property owner. property was clean and well lit and stocked with everything you may need. Location was about 20 mins away from our softball tournament so it was literally the best location without breaking the bank and having the same amenities as if we are at home

Hocking getaway

Awesome quite house, it’s secluded and peaceful. Not from amenities like the Rocky Mountain boot factory and hocking college, great place to stay super clean and renovated with all up to date appliances. Highly recommended if your looking for place in the hocking area!

a fine stay

The house was clean but an odd layout with the spaces very broken up; no where to eat together and hard for 5 people to lounge in the same room comfortably. There are a few maintenance and basic supply updates the host could make for a better overall experience. Location was remote and quiet.

Adequate

The property was adequate for what we needed. The main bed felt shaky, flimsy and unstable. The home did not seem like it had been cleaned since the last guest, there was dust on the floors and hair in the shower. It was odd that there was a request to wash dishes before we left, but no dish sponge was available.

Fabulous nature experience

We loved stayed here, it was out away from things but still close to stores. There was plenty of space for everyone. We loved its distance to hocking hills. Pleasant experience, and would recommend to a friend.

Needs a deep clean!

This house needs a thorough deep clean. Dirt and dead bugs down stairs and upstairs. Cobwebs all over the place. Beds were highly uncomfortable. Walls and trim need to be cleaned. Closets need to be gone through and organized instead of stuff just thrown in there. Dryer didn’t work. Hair was all over in the shower and things were left from previous guests all throughout the house. Sponge in the kitchen sink was gross and should’ve been thrown away by previous guests or owner.

Perfect for weekend at Hocking Hills

I would recommend

This house is spacious, private and has anything that you might need for a comfortable stay. The owner communicated quickly whenever I had a question . This place was perfect for our needs. We were here for Moms Weekend at Ohio University. I would definitely stay at this home again.

Nice rural getaway!!

A few college friends of mine rented this nice rural home for our Alumni weekend at OU. Well furnished, clean, and quiet. Nice deck and yard with a fire pit. Host responded promptly when we had a question with directions. We look forward to returning.

Great experience

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage on White. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with coffee, pots, and dishes. We will definitely return next time we are in the area!
