Great location in historic home. Be prepared for steps but lovely looking out at the trees on Jones street. Clean and well appointed but starting to look a bit worn. Lots of room.
Very nice historical home close to riverfront. Easy check in, responsive host but no problems at call. Check in info provided before arrival and accurate. Nice amenities, clean home. Highly recommend for couples looking for quite getaway
Exceeded our expectations! Right in the heart of the Historic District. Very elegant, roomy apartment for two guests. Hosts were very responsive to requests and inquiries. Savannah has ample street parking in the historic district. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful location, gorgeous condo - really just a wonderful place. Close to everything. Beautifully decorated and updated. Everything was perfect. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Communication with the people managing the place was also great. There are stairs to get up to the place so need to be in good shape!
This home is beautiful, quiet, and perfectly located in the heart of the historic district. We were able to walk to almost everywhere we went (we had to drive out to Skidaway Island to get to the state park and wildlife reserve) and nothing we went to was more than a 20 minute drive. Our suite had a lovely balcony and our first full day there it was raining for part of the day so we sat on n the balcony and read and listened to the rain. I will definitely book here again for our next trip to Savanna.
Communication was quick and easy. Location was near everything so we could walk instead of driving. Loved the house. Mrs. Wilkes was right next door. We had a great trip.
We were here four nights in part to celebrate my wife's birthday. We found the Chippewa Suite to be a great selection. It is right on historic Jones Street, close to several great restaurants and parks, and just a short drive or decent walk to the downtown area. The suite has lots of charm while offering a modern kitchen and bathroom. I was concerned about parking but we always found an available spot on the street and it was simple using the meter system.
My one piece of advice is that the Chippewa is on the top floor and the steps into the building and then to our suite were somewhat challenging, especially carrying luggage.. If you have bad knees or balance issues it might not be the best option.
The wife and I had a terrific time exploring historical downtown Savannah, oh yeah, and the rental was fabulous, and many thanks for the complimentary wine!

Never got any check in email. Luckily saw the property manager doing a las minute walk through of the property and was able to access the property with his help. We called and sent emails before arriving but never a response. Overall a nice visit.

The condo was beautiful and in the heart of Jones Street, which we think is the most beautiful street in Savannah. It was also pretty large and very comfortable and quiet for my wife and me. The location is great, and we found that it was close enough to walk to about anything in the Historic District, from Forsyth Park to the River Front area.
My wife and I spent 4 enjoyable nights in the Chippewa Suite. Jones Street if absolutely beautiful with moss draped Oaks arching over the brick pavement bordered by historic residences. We walked to most of the landmarks, the architecture and squares are idyllic. Our Suite was nicely furnished and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom has a large shower. A new, more comfortable sofa with a coffee table would be a nice upgrade, other than that it was perfect for us and we would definitely stay again if in Savanna.
Very nice place to stay. Right in the middle of all the key points. We mostly walked everywhere we went. Had a great time for a short getaway! Only thing pay attention to the parking meters and sweep times!! We got a $35 ticket for being parked in a sweep zone(12:00am-4:00am)
Very well kept apartment in the historic district with a nice mix of old and new. Great location. Host and manger were very responsive and thoughtful (nice little care package upon arrival). Would stay here again.
What a beautiful unit to stay in! It was impeccably clean and fresh. Comfortable bed, very nice kitchen and bath. A lovely historic home. We were in the heart of Savannah and enjoyed walking to the squares and shops. It was absolutely perfect.
We loved this apartment! It’s on a beautiful street and close to everything in the historic district. We were able to park close and it was quiet at night. It’s on the third floor but it was easy to get to even for my 84 year old mother. There is a cute back deck, a full workable kitchen that has everything and a washer/dryer. The bathroom is connected to the bedroom so if you are with a group and sleeping on the sofa just know you have walk by the bed to go to the bathroom.
My only complaint is that the sleeper sofa was a little bumpy/uncomfortable. It would probably be fine for youngsters though. Otherwise I highly recommend!
Great place ! Very clean and location was great. We had a great weekend in Savannah.
